I rotated wheels on my model Y when service reminder popped around 6k miles, I measured across each tread and counted find any wear difference. With AWD, I am not sure it’s worth the trouble. I rotated front to back. I will keep an eye on wear to determine if going to rotate again at 12k. My CT...
I had window tint 7” down from top when had CT wrapped. First thought it wouldn’t be enough, but turned out to be just right. It covers the open space above visor. (50% tint)
I agree, I plugged my CT into my 50 amp generator outlet to test, worked great. Ran my whole house (including central air) with no problems. Accomplished the same as plugging in my generator.
I did the very same thing, after CT said there wasn’t any installed fog lights, I stopped to get out and check for mysef. I too was surprised no fog lights in design for an off road vehicle.
I understand from discussions with my tax accountant (who just returned from 2024 tax seminar), you can claim the 30% battery storage/backup deduction in the year commission your Tesla Gateway/Charger. This includes the cost of equipment (gateway & charger) and materia/labor. Check with your tax...
Unplug the light, since it not why you bought step. I do use trailer plug to power extra tail/stop lights I installed and yes I have turn off trailer mode each time I want to use FSD, which is each time I drive my CT. The price I pay to power the additional lighting.
Based on their instructions video, it seems light Y connection into headlight circuit. On when headlights come on. I would also assume “off” when bright lights on??
I have no excuse, I was born and raised in Illinois, I knew better But we don’t carry a snow brush/scraper either, I couldn’t find anything large enough to clear the snow from windshield. My Bad.
You are correct, us down here in New Orleans are not use to 10 inches of snow. Unfortunately I had same experience on Tuesday. My mistake was running de-froster for 10-15 minutes prior to turning on wiper. This turned light snow against windshield to packed, heavy wet Slush. Wiper arm was...
Frankly, living New Orleans I never thought I would be able to add my “two cents” to this subject. ? Well that changed yesterday with 8 plus inches of snow and no snow removal equipment south of Mason-Dixon line. To my amazement, CT performed ”outstanding” even with All-Season tires installed...
True, rolling scroll wheel won’t cause CT to speed (as in auto pilot) but it will get there in time and maintain speed, again depending on traffic flow. Before if traffic flow was going 90 mph, so did CT to keep up, not anymore stops at you set Max speed.
I just completed 500 mile trip from North Atlanta to New Orleans on V13.2.2 with NO interventions, compared to the drive up to Atlanta on V12.5. The issues of maintaining and controlling speeds, in my opinion have been resolved with this latest update. You can select your MAX Speed which FSD...
