Every drive. Some disengaging on blind country turns and construction.
I didn’t realize lane assist had been added. Mine only did the auto cruise control before the FSD was downloaded. I’ll have to go test it out. It’s all I used with my Model 3.
Going downtown for an event I like FSD for not...
You didn't worry about turning too tight in the U turn? With my horse trailer I have come close to getting jack knifed in the past with my old truck. So far I haven't needed to back with the Cybertruck, but it was a worry due to the turning back wheels. Although, when I think of any u turn with...
For the issue with trying to leave the HOV lane, what if you leave it in hurry mode? When I'm in hurry mode it seems to want to stay in the far left lane. I use standard so it will get over. The nag seems a little more sensitive, but I suspect it does have something to do with height and eye...
I'd be sure I had my mobile charger with me and scout out potential places to plug in, like RV parks. That being said, if I stay under 65 mph I've calculated I could make 150 miles, which is a round trip I do regularly and would like to take my trailer along when the weather is nicer.
The vault cargo net (and the L track tie down points, since mine didn't come with them). I can keep my waterproof boots readily available at the back and any leftovers from restaurants get set in there so it doesn't smell up the cabin. Also holds groceries from sliding around. When I need to get...
My smaller, battery powered one gave me a pound of air in maybe 3 minutes. It just couldn't cut it. I couldn't test my 12V one since it had no place to plug in. I got one of these. ETENWOLF VORTEX S6 Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor for Heavy-duty Vehicles https://a.co/d/gi0AiE0
I park in front of my trailer a lot without hitching. If I hit the brake to have it auto switch into drive it usually puts it in reverse and I have to go move it into drive (maybe it's the ground in front of it being different and the trailer being black). I thought it would see the trailer...
The only way I stay at those number is if I don't punch it at every stoplight, and that's no fun. I'm closer to 450 with the winter temps and my driving. Pulling a trailer I get up to 750 but shoot for 700. Wind will also affect my numbers.
My problem is usually single lane country road, no one in front of me, someone behind me and speed limit sign increases to 75 but truck stays at 67 max speed set for 60. So I scroll up and push the accelerator to get up to speed and then I might get the flashing warning. Then I might disengage...
Rather than slowing down I tend to disengage using the steering wheel button while still pressing on the accelerator and then re-engage in a bit. But I typically still have my hands on the wheel when in FSD. I have the same issue with it registering a different speed than posted speed in a...
I’m still used to keeping one hand on the steering wheel for torque as needed from previous versions, so I usually have my hand hanging off the wheel which seems to give me more leeway on looking for stuff or working through things on the screen. I’ve only had one forced disengage in the past...
My experience with other Teslas is if they are towed then you can’t see their location. It only shows location if driving. So I toss an AirTag in the glove box so if it were towed I’d still have its location.
So much better at keeping speed than 12. I wish I could use voice control to change between chill, standard and hurry. Driving through the country, cities and rain I’d switch modes maybe 3x in an hour or so. A verbal request would be easier than navigating the screens. I did have it kick off...
Ya'll have given me something to think about. I got a spare for my Model 3 and tossed it and the tools in every out of town drive. First car to not get a flat. I had a cheap plug kit and air compressor, but will order the patch kit and the better plug kit and call it a day. I also have a tow...
