You're right, this post is dumb. There's nothing to discuss here. It's super simple...if you have enough money for the Beast, get the Beast.....if you can't afford the Beast, get the AWD....and if you just want to look like you're driving a CT, then get the single motor. The end.
If off roading is your high priority....you got the wrong vehicle. CT sucks at off roading, far inferior than a true off roading vehicle like the Raptor. CT is super great on smooth surfaces only. I own both.
To anyone who ever had to choose between AWD vs Beast....it's not a matter of which is better....it's a matter of how much money you're willing to part with, period. Now quit asking stupid question, and look at your bank account.
My experience on this light bar....
- had to just schedule the installation even without email notification (the light bar will follow)
- light bar looks great, however not very bright comparing to my Rigid set on my Raptor.
- light output from light bar is aiming too low, maybe only 20' or so...
Yes! This just happened to me on a road trip yesterday. I stopped by Tesla service center and they forced a reinstall of the current software on my CT. It resolved it for a few hours then GPS got out of whack again during the drive home. Got home, plugged in to charge and everything was good...
I would get the same Beast again. This time it would be 20K cheaper! I will subscribe to the FSD + Premium Data every month. The $20K FS is definitely not worth it, it was a forced thing.
Yes, it would be nice, but we signed up for this willingly, so just enjoy what we signed up for. Besides, we didn't hesitate to pay that extra $20K, so why stress over charging fee now.
Picked mine up during last service. Still in plastic wrappers. I think they make the wheels look like some cheap hubcaps. Sending mine to landfill this Friday...still in wrappers.
I totally agree here. I would never do this kind of dumb shit....I would've just bought another CT with the free supercharge. Then you'd have the free supercharge without losing selling short on the old one!
Currently, there's no way to turn off that running light. But you can try covering it up with black electrical tape to see if it is the blinding culprit.
