What’s the latest thought regarding if you reserved a tri-motor? Are you getting automatically switched to the quad, will you be asked when your reservation comes up, some other guess?
For me, I don’t have a burning need for a new vehicle, so I’m just pumping car payments into a brokerage...
I wonder what that outlined shape in front of the driver is for? Looks a bit like a trapezoid. The wishful thinker in me is hoping it denotes a HUD on the windshield, but I'm not holding my breath.
That's be a you're thinking like a person instead of a greedy corporation. Executives are paid when profit increases and stock prices increase. You do that by finding ways to make more money, not saying "well, we're making enough, all good"
I think your argument is sound and completely irrelevant to AT&T saying “You’re using too much, you have to pay more”. If it’s popular, they’ll want to charge more.
The "good" news, at least for me, is that I've been saving money from every pay check, so by the time this actually does get released, I'll have it fully funded. One thing I hope that happens from all the delays is that enough people in front of my "week after announcement" reservation drop out...
i think I'm going to miss having gauges of some kind right in front of me. I'd really like a minimal HUD on the windshield with something like current speed, maybe left turn ahead kind of thing.
Along these lines, I wonder how well the SS will handle typical car washes. Will it swirl like paint? Will it get scratched? Shake it off? I don't think it will have any problems fitting in one.
I've wondered, since seeing the "bulletproof" demonstration, whether they've created the possibility for people to test the theory. If it creates some "ha! Let's see if it's really bulletproof" ideas. For example, the guy who shot at the tesla "recently" in Nashville (?). I'm not concerned...
This! You read my mind. I'm setting aside money now for a good down payment. Planning on 40%-ish for the tri-motor. Using your criteria, I'd give them what I have now, especially if that moved me up on the list.
Yeah, good point I guess, I'm probably assuming based on the pictures of the truck squatting to help load stuff on the ramp (where the front end is way up in the air).
Still, any idea what the actual ride height will be?
I'm sure I could look this up, but I thought I'd see if others here knew already. Anyone know what the height from ground the floor will be (barring dropping the suspension). I was talking about how big the CT is with my wife and she said "your mother is never going to be able to get into...
