The replacement rail looks fine - no obvious heat tint from welding. Has anyone done the replacement already and is happy with the results?

Interested to see how it turns out. Do you expect to have it back today? I am hesitant to have mine done, but I should probably have it serviced before installing new bumper and roof rack in case these mods will affect my warranty.

I like this idea. The mounting holes are too small to feed the connectors through, so I need to see if the connectors can be disassembled to feed the wires. I also wonder if there are right angle connectors, so that the wires would run to the side rather than straight back.

Just had a positive experience- a woman approached me in the parking lot asking about the truck, and as we started talking she said that she really admires Elon and is grateful for his DOGE efforts. She wants to buy a Tesla to support him and is debating between the new Y and Cybertruck.

Linking was sufficient. I did not need to pay in advance, and it did not cause any delay. I was able to pay via the app at delivery after inspecting the truck, and the payment was instantaneous.
