    Motor “whining” on AWD

Normal Operating Sounds (tesla.com) Tesla actually recorded a bunch of "NORMAL OPERATION" sounds for people so you can hear what is normal and what isn't. I did check and its the same sounds in all the DIY guides (Model 3 / Model Y / Cybertruck). Not sure if its different on the S/X or if...

Vault cover question - missing piece?

I've heard this is a calibration issue or a missing gasket issue. I'd follow up with a service ticket item.

    Any Core Wheel VINs yet?

Cool pictures, still debating if I will go with these are the upgraded AT vs. stock Core Wheels when I eventually get the Non-FS. Core wheels are All-Season tires, Pirelli Scorpion ELECT ATR 285/65R20. Cyber Wheels are All-Terrain tires, Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT 285/65R20.

FS Order switching to Non-FS Order

I did. Has there been other reports of it?

FS Order switching to Non-FS Order

I put in my FS order back on 12/15/2023 and decided to hold out for non-foundation series due to cost reasons (tax credit specifically), and I've been asking them to change it to non-FS vehicle since at least February. This past week they've been hounding me with requests to update my steps in...

Update: Paint already cleaned from Cybertrucks vandalized in Miami Tesla delivery lot

This looks like pre-delivery staging. Also not sure if the wiper blade motor recall has been fixed yet.

Removing / venting rear window to cool/heat vault for DIY camp mode?

It would be nice if the breezer window would not require a professional install.

Potential injury warning: Leg cut by door corner (warning: graphic image)

https://insideevs.com/news/721017/tesla-cybertruck-er-cut-delivery/ Another injury apparently, I saw the video and it looks like a nice slice with blood dripping every second or so because it was a pretty big gash.

Potential injury warning: Leg cut by door corner (warning: graphic image)

Here's the thing, hitting anything hard enough can cause a deep scratch. I walked into a 4 foot tall cabinet, and hit my head against it causing a deep gash and sitches. Was the square cabinet to blame? Many would say no, and say it was clearly my fault. But some cabinet short sellers would...

Rumor: $98900 price for tri-motor Cybertruck??

This has to be a fake p rice because if it is priced at that, the PR faultout could cause a lot of demand loss.

Elon reveals Cybertruck details / production expectations on Q3 2023 call

GigaNevada is partly owned by Panasonic. While Tesla has built the packs, they do not make the cells.

Elon reveals Cybertruck details / production expectations on Q3 2023 call

Not all the processes are in place for 125k unit run rate if they can't build 30 units well. AFAIK they've only built a handful of cars that are "delivery quality" and showroom quality. That's not scalable and there's a lot of learning that happens during the scale up. Just because they ahve...

Elon reveals Cybertruck details / production expectations on Q3 2023 call

I'm predicting < 500 CT deliveries before end of 2023 and between 20,000 to 50,000 CT deliveries before end of 2024. Tesla/Elon will NOT ramp up CT production until they figure out how to cost effectively mass produce it. Model 3 only had about 50k produced in the first year before they started...

    Cyber Camper concept for Cybertruck

I signed up just to say that the initial concept art looks terrible because there is NO consideration for aerodynamics. Aero is the biggest consumer of energy at speeds > 40 MPH. In terms of drag, its a function of cross-sectional area, which those concepts greatly increase. Not to mention some...
