Vinyl is definitely the way to go if your main objective is looks. And to your point, the SS doesn’t need protection from impact. For the same price you can change it more times and there are more color options with vinyl. I went an hybrid route. Vinyl the entire car plus clear PPF on top...

I’ve gotten a scrape from the door before too, but didn’t break skin. I think I was trying to close the door with my elbow since I was trying not to leave fingerprints. Be careful and stay safe!

Nice collection of cars there. The cybertruck couldn’t be any more different than those cars. As much as I love the way ICE cars feel, the acceleration EVs provide is so much fun. I currently do not have any ICE cars, but do have the itch to get one again from time to time.

Opted for vinyl since the stainless steel doesn’t really need paint protection. The PPF is more to protect the vinyl.

You can find 3M reflective tape on Amazon to try out. I think they are like $20 a roll.
