I like that a lot more! Keep the aero profile at all costs, some of these rigs seem insane to just have a vehicle mounted tent and loose 20% range doing so.
Argh, right in the middle, but big enough that the patch failed. Luckily I bought certs from discount tire as they have to replace the tire. Under 900 miles on it. :(
Best conversion I had about mine was with a guy at the grocery store who wanted me to know "it's got an aluminum frame". I had to explain that sure it does, but so do planes and semi's and that the material doesn't matter as much as the engineering and staying within the specifications it's...
Most of the foundation series vehicles being sold at this point were made in September or later last year and have most all the fixes you speak of. Yes, you give up the $7500 which might well tempt people the other way. I for one jumped for the free supercharging. There is a remote chance in 8...
If/when you elevate a man to god tier status, you will only be let down for all their faults in your mind. Everyone has faults, everyone is different. The real problem is Elon's haters are turning on private owners of products a company he only owns 13% of, made. That's not cool. Which is the...
I got a nail in my front driver side tire over the past day or two. Not loosing much pressure; but right in the damn middle of the rubber like it was placed there. And low and behold my sentry videos have had a couple people stop right in the blind spots that are the front tire areas. Maybe I'm...
Keep in mind the industrial rate for electricity is typically around 1/10th the residential rate. So if I pay at home $0.10/kwh, Tesla pays $0.01. So what Tesla charges you $3000 for at $0.41/kwh only likely costs them $73.
See I actually really miss the plastic grocery bags because I saved them and always re-used the crap out of them. My supply is almost gone and I'll be forced to buy something to replace them for things such as litter box cleanings and school "disposable" bag requirements. It's funny that the...
pretty certain this is the holdup on solar + PowerShare. The inverter can only go one way at a time and thus if you generate power outside it you’re likely to over generate and *something* will have to sink the energy created. I’d rather that not be my microinverters.
In a pinch this seems like it would work, you have to be sure to disconnect or shut off the main breaker as well as any solar input breaker. And load balancing sounds like an unknown. This is not an advised thing to do, lots can go wrong.
Broke down and got a divider to hold the bins at the back for easy access… You know Colorados “grocery bag ban” sucks without somewhere to put everything.
Ironically the last study I saw projects that it’s possible to RESTORE batteries that have degradation by holding them at low levels for extended periods. The catch is not going below a certain voltage which varies by chemistry and BPMS reading.
Seems similar I guess To the Fanttik S100 ($40@Costco) but with a larger battery. Very very slow for our purposes on the cybertruck saying 29-36psi in 2 minutes and only 20 minutes run time per full charge. Heaven forbid you dont get a flat and have to do 0 to 50. I think the Tesla option is...
Exactly how are you recharging this 12v item from the trucks 48v or 120v or 240v? Can it charge via the USB-C? Maybe that’s what you are saying; Just trying to understand.
i seem to remember per out of spec videos that currently you could A) rip off the fairing around the wheel to make it fit. Or you can use the EVject adaptor with the OEM one to make it fit. Neither is a great solution, but using a 3rd party adaptor seems to be in the same boat as evject as you...
