Found this while going down a weird Chinese rabbit hole
A bunch of sellers have popped up on Ebay lately offering free shipping and free returns. I almost pulled the trigger to be a guinea pig but the deal seemed too good to be true. I have searched all the China sites looking for these but cannot find them. Which makes me wonder if they are real.
I did hear of one stolen in Chicago that was later in a wreck. My last truck was a TRX which is probably the most stolen vehicle in the US. Although I basically bulletproofed that truck it scared me to death anytime I parked it on the street. I do not worry at all with the CT
My office is 100 feet from Lake Michigan and we had some wicked fog this morning . As soon as I got off the highway I had zero visibility. The Lamina-x seemed to help quite a bit. Hopefully we get some some Chicago snow soon so I can try this out. Sorry for the bad techno music.
I guess Youtube didn't like Earth Wind and Fire playing in the background so I had to change the music to some weird techno crap. Although its not snowing the yellow film definitely helps at night.
Although I do not drive at night often in the CT, I read all the threads about the glare from the lights. Here is my easy a quick remedy prior to trimming. Since I am in Chicago the heat is cranked until the film becomes flexible enough to adhere properly.
My spare setup. It's currently in the bed since I have been street parking in Chicago lately. I carry a bottle jack, jack stands, plug kit and compressor in all my trucks. Ironically, in almost 40 years of driving I have had one or two flats.
I sell boats and frequently have something attached to the hitch. My personal CC is a Crevalle 33 with twin Merc 400's. 300 gallons fuel, 30 water, Seakeeper, air conditioning and trailer has her pushing 13000lbs. The CT did well moving her around.

I have great success with yellow fogs on all my trucks in the snow. For $62 bucks I figured I would give this a try. Just ordered, will post results after install. Hopefully we get some snow in Chicago soon.
I sell boats and am a boater myself. I frequently have something hooked to the back. Heaviest load was my Crevalle 33 and that was pushing it weight wise. Overall the Ct tows great but kind of sucks backing down a ramp due to visibility. I found my Rams much easier.
