  1. Cybertruck looks way better dirty

Are you suppose to wash them? Companies are just making lots of money on all the wash chemicals they are pushing for the CT. I just hose mine down every month or two. Windows do get cleaned more often.
  2. How often do you use FSD?

1 or 2. Hardly ever use it. Still on free version. Won't buy it. Retired and don't put many miles on it. Love driving the CT myself. It ain't hard :) .
  3. FS Beast Owners >6 months: would you do it again?

I really can't compare since this is my first EV and pick up truck. BUT, I'm and old soul with old habits for a gasoline engine. HOWEVER, since I've had it for three months, I must say it's the best, most fun vehicle I've ever purchased. Love the handling, ride, quiet interior and all the...
  4. Does everyone’s windshield wiper suck?

Yep, streaks on passenger side and inadvertent, unexpected wiper movement. Poor design.
  5. New CT Owner

Wow, it's much nicer looking than the one on the right. Good choice. Congrats, enjoy and be safe.
  6. LINKING DRIVER PROFILE TO A KEY (PHONE)

Dalton, makes perfect sense and it worked. Thank you so much for your patience with me. I love the truck, but at my age "change" is sometimes difficult to accommodate. Again, much thanks and safe travels. PS: Your knowledge of the truck makes me think you had something to do with its design :)
  7. LINKING DRIVER PROFILE TO A KEY (PHONE)

Thanks for responding. The Tesla dealership set up both our phones when we picked up the CT. Both phones individually allow access, start (and lock) the CT, but do not automatically change the profile (seat position, mirrors, temperature, music, etc) of the phone being used. One has to push...
  8. LINKING DRIVER PROFILE TO A KEY (PHONE)

Dalton, thanks a bunch. I'm 79 YOA and technically challenged, so most of this CT stuff is way over my head. Anyway, both our phones have the Tesla App and we get the same messages. Individually, each phone automatically opens and locks the CT. However, the driver profile doesn't...
  9. LINKING DRIVER PROFILE TO A KEY (PHONE)

Good point. I think she is just logged in the same account. I'll try separate account. Thanks.
  10. LINKING DRIVER PROFILE TO A KEY (PHONE)

Thanks, but where is the profile icon(person) on the phone (key) screen on the app?
  11. Non-Foundation /AWD Cybertrucks available for anyone; October Delivery. Priority for existing reservation holders

Personally, I was not happy with Tesla's marketing ploy on the CT. Made my deposit in 2019 for the dual motor and then they tried to sell me the Foundation Series if I wanted it now and pay over $20K more. I naturally declined and waited another three weeks to get the dual motor.
  12. Problem with my Purchase of a Cybertruck

I did a wire transfer and my transaction was flawless and quick (one or two days if I remember). Strange never dealing/speaking with a human for a vehicle purchase and having to go thru a heated price negotiation process.......but I liked it. Hope you get your CT. Hang in there.
  13. LINKING DRIVER PROFILE TO A KEY (PHONE)

New to my three week old CT. Put Tesla App on wife's phone. Went thru CONTROLS >LOCKS>KEYS. She now shows as a profiled driver on CT screen along with me. However, when she approaches CT it doesn't automatically change to her profile settings. She has to hit the " person pic" on the screen...
  14. Cold PSI vs at temp PSI’s

Thanks all for feedback. Weather hot and cold here in Florida, but a royal PIA to adjust needed tire pressure having to take hub caps on and off. Personally, this was stupid and don't remember having to do this since the 60's :)
  15. Service people happy if you bring key card

OK, probably a stupid question, but I always keep keep my key card in my wallet in case I leave or lose my phone somewhere? Does this interact (create issues) when both (phone and card) are in car at same time? Thanks. Please go easy on me. Only had CT one month. :)
  16. Core Wheels Plastic Hubcaps Breakage?

OK, I was wondering why Tesla figured that the customer would rather manually remove and replace hub caps every time a minor tire air adjustment was called for? Could they have not drilled a tire stem hole with longer air stem into the standard CT hub cap and save owners much aggravation? The...
  17. Strange noises: air shocks in rear

I sometimes hear some strange noises, but not to a point where they are annoying. I think it's due to the truck being so damn quiet when driving, you can hear a feather fall.
  18. New Guy here.

i'm 78 YOA and NEVER thought I'd purchase an EV. I'm an old school gas guy with prior fast cars and big engines. However, I always liked different and unique transportation, so I took a chance and bought the Cybertruck with no dry run. Got 2,000 miles on it and simply love it. I don't do...
