Article: It's becoming increasingly clear Tesla is just another car company -- agree / disagree?

Simply disagree. There is a method behind their "madness". E.g., the price reduction of Tesla cars in China was just announced. There is a good rational for doing this now. Look here, for example, for more info: (115) MASSIVE Tesla Price Cuts in China! Is Tesla Doomed--Or Is EVERYONE ELSE...

Why is Tesla in the lead in for the article. Two adults survive Tesla plunges 250 feet off California Cliff?

It's not clear what caused the car to go over the cliff. CHP is handling the investigation. The article states that "it went over the cliff at Devil’s Slide", The Devil made them do it...

Can't Tesla fund their own loans? (high interest, demand impact, etc)

Tesla energy is doing great (e.g., 4680 production). I believe the materials challenge is being addressed as part of their unofficial master plan 3 (e.g., the batteries) as Elon do point it out. However, I am not aware Elon stated anything concerning the "staff quality". Perhaps Elon is...

Yes, I am seriously considering. But like they say, you do not want to catch a falling knife. The big question is when... 2023 could be a long year.

Elon Talks Economy, Possible Discounting, Demand Issues, Stock Sales, and TSLA on on Twitter Spaces

I am thinking Elon might be able to save Twitter and make it profitable. I would never under estimate Elon, based on what he has been able to do so far. However, I do not plan to invest in Twitter.

In Canada there is a Tax Free Saving Account (TFSA). This year it is $6,500. It is cumulative. I am noy sure what the US is doing about this idea. TFSAs can be used to buy stocks. If the stock goes way up you do not have to pay tax on them when you get them out. See here for more if you...

Elon Talks Economy, Possible Discounting, Demand Issues, Stock Sales, and TSLA on on Twitter Spaces

I like how you think, however it does not make it better for me at 62 and 40 years of working and all of my pension money paying for all my bills. The cycle for me is another 10 to 30 years at the most and the "cycle" will be over for me with perhaps no CT and more pain. I am still thankful...

Elon Talks Economy, Possible Discounting, Demand Issues, Stock Sales, and TSLA on on Twitter Spaces

Good for you for your own restraints. Yes, it is good to do well with what you own and have now. Even if my CT could be "free" (after my Tesla investments) I will have to make sure I am good with it now that my stocks are all broken. I am retiree (with 40 years I have no need for more Tesla...

Elon is saying 2023/24 will not be easy. He even compares it to the 2008/09 timeframe. and recession. Steven is reporting all this here: Elon Musk Explains How To Survive The 2023 Recession - YouTube Are you ready for it? Here Randy has some ideas for Tesla: Don't Cut Tesla Auto Prices...

Elon Talks Economy, Possible Discounting, Demand Issues, Stock Sales, and TSLA on on Twitter Spaces

I agree that individuals are not helped by government. They are just expected to go bankrupt. However, big businesses (i.e., Us Banks, GM and etc.) are helped by the government by using tax payer money (e.g., 2009) directly. I think they did not have to pay back, but Tesla did pay back all with...

Cybertruck front casting might need 8-ton casting press instead of 6-ton

    1. "Plough is like tyre, in that they are both wrong." Therefore, line one was read by a US citizen and Line 2 was read by a UK citizen. 2. "Plow is like tire, in that they are both correct." Therefore, line one was read by a UK citizen and line 2 was read by a US citizen.

Cybertruck front casting might need 8-ton casting press instead of 6-ton

Exacly, bigger casts with more metal, if well engineered, would do magic for the front end of this truck. (I think)

QUOTE from JBEE above. "What I don't I understand is how we are still having fossil fuel resource wars (Russia over Ukraine reserves being explored by Shell and Exxon) whilst vehicle and industry electrification, and RE, is going to take the sales away from fossils anyway? As EM mentioned in the...

Interesting specs and use cases you have listed above. In the end, you pay for what you get and hope one of the Cybertruck meets your needs.

Mexico Nuevo Leon Factory rumored in the works

Ok, it seems like Mexico has some special advantages as you indicated. Consider that Tesla wants many more Giga factories. Mexico and Canada could be part of the new list of Giga factories. There are reports that indicates that the plan is to go to 20M cars/year by 2030 with about 2M cars per...

Mexico Nuevo Leon Factory rumored in the works

Also note that Quebec/Canada has a LOT of natural resources that could be used to make lots of EV batteries. The cost of electricity in Quebec is also very low. A super big AI computer could be energized and cooled in the northern area of Quebec. Aluminum is also very available here, which...
