To merge or not to merge?

I hope they NEVER take up with someone else. IMO they are good at thinking out of the BOX. WE DON'T want them (Emperor Elon) being held back. :) More benefits for us with these new approaches.

    CT's Ride Heights

Well our crap government doesn't like EV's. The Federal government tax them as luxury cars and some of the states are going to bring in a tax for having an EV. They don't seem to understand the benefits to the country, health, safety, environment and not having to import fossil fuel. I'm sure...

I figure I will charge from a 240AC wall socket (std in Oz, prob. have to get the circuit up graded from 10A. I do have two (2) phases coming into my property.). But would be good to be able to leave it charging while I shop.

    CT's Ride Heights

Crissa.. I went back to the shopping Mall , where the Tesla charges are in the underground car park. They have been changed in the last week from Imperial measurements to metric. One is 1.900 m, and the other is 2.000 m. I will certianly be watching for the finalized heights for my CTd.

Cybertruck production gets closer as Gigafactory Texas shifts to 24/7 construction

Well, I wasn't adding in a delivery fee! Oz is a long way from Texas! I was thinking of catching a train to Melbourne (160km) to collect, as that would save any fees. If it did float as a powered boat I would collect in US and go home via Antarctica (love to see the Emperor penguins) :):):) As I...

    Remote solar recharging

GDay, I saw a "Now You Know" of about 6 months ago, where a report by a guy that had worked for Ford, was giving info on Fords tare-down of a model 3. He said that the hardware is already in the car and only requires a software download. This is for V2G and maybe V2V...therefore I would guess...

Cybertruck in parking spots - A measured example

The local Plaza underground parking has a over head bar with 6' Max written on it?? This is where the Tesla chargers are! :( How is that going to work for me?

If an M3 can do this!!?

In OZ our regs. it states that any vehicle towing a trailer (includes caravans) is limited to MAX 100km. This reg. also states it applies to prime movers and trucks. I have been passed by MOST in 110km zones. Go figure!!

Ride The Lightning podcast source says tri-motor Cybertruck will have at least 560 miles range + steering wheel has changed from prototype

I definitely want 1000 km, that is the Tanami road between chargers (and mostly hydrocarbons aswell!). We are a bit shy on chargers of any type. I live in the east of Victoria. I do tow a medium sized float and my Subi suffers and revs a lot on hills. I have checked on the Oz sites for chargers...
