late to the comment game but...
I think duallys are pointless. There was a guy on youtube that tricked out a dually and it failed trying to climb a small hill that was similar to a driveway incline. Then you have these tiny toyotas and jeeps with 110:1 crawl ratio transfer cases and they drive...
I’ve already commented my two cents but I was thinking about it more…
iwill Still be in because it’s my end all vehicle. I will never need another vehicle unless I trash this one which seems like it’ll be difficult.
I believe *some* people back out with the price range because they still think...
I don’t know enough about the subject to give a full stop on the idea because it sounds cool. For myself, I’d be worried most of the off-roading, overlanding, and street towing applications…. Would not be best suited for it.
But this is just me. I need to know more info
Honestly, I can’t wait to see all this technology in the near future. If it’ll be introduced at all.
and I didn’t think you were pooing the ideas. It’s good to have different opinions and corrections of the like. I appreciate it all ?.
Plus, when I’m wrong I am wrong and I’ll own it for sure.
In order to have any type of tire inflation system you can’t have a normal rotating tire because all the mechanics of the compressor and hoses would tangle with the rotation.
so my assumption would be they have to incorporate the portal axle and (might as well) inboard brakes while your at it...

sorry they obtained this patent and applied for it back in 2018
Something I knew that Crissa didn’t?!?!? Who are you and where is the real Crissa???
I didn't know about them until I watched iTesla on youtube yesterday so its funny you should mention them. I just checked out the Dirt And Snow Coilover Suspension Kit. Sadly it's sold out because i guess everyone wants it.
My ideal goal is to have the 18' wheel (6 lug with adaptor so they can...
You can go up to a 29” tire and wheel with a very VERY tight fit from brake caliper to rim. (255+x70r18). Even more space if you buy the mountain pass rotor that has smaller mm.
i just wanted the rim and LUG pattern so i can have one rim size for the massive tires I’d put on the CT and just...
Just make a guess, it’s that simple. There are so many references out there with all the other trucks it’s just a guess. People have been customizing since DIY projects became a thing. Literally, just make a guess. I can change the rotor size, I can swap out the calipers, there are adapters for...
I love how nobody likes to bounce ideas off of anyone any more or contribute to the conversation something that can be of any assistance. It's literally a bunch of "no you cant do that."
Regardless of that fact we dont know a whole lot about the final design that didnt stop the Cyberlandr from...
I realize it’s just hearsay but I was just taking visual measurements with a group of other CT customizing enthusiasts. Based on Elons body measurements and the size 72 inches high of the CT side angle we roughly calculated the tires (possibly 30 or 32 and not 35). I own a set of 35’s on my Jeep...
I got most of that under control. The model y’s wheel well is most definitely gonna be smaller in some way or another and most 17” rims can be fitted with M/T and A/T I want for off-road. Given the measurements, I cant go bigger than 29’s on the model Y.
already did my research on which...
