You won't need the test drive if it just to familiarize the operation. I had not even seen a CT in person until I picked mine up in May. The drive by wire and handling took all of 2 minutes to get used to and I still love how it drives.
I'm sitting in the boat of 400 amp service that won't allow powershare. I am waiting for a powerwall that will allow me to use the truck as intended with instant swap. This post has me reconsidering that.
My home has 400 amp service so it looks like the only way to use my truck as backup power is with a powerwall installation and software released to support it. I requested powerwall from the Tesla site but it sits at "

Thank you. Does the 360c identify with arrows sources through the tonneau cover such as when it ID's the source in front and as you drive by it swaps to behind as you pass it? How are you powering it in the truck?
Has anyone tried the Escort REDLINE 360c model inside their truck? I have been a longtime user of the Valentine 1 detector going back almost 30 years but the built in GPS features of the top end Escort model have me ready to purchase it. I know seeing signals from behind is likely not happening...
Great, I wanted to confirm powewall would work for 400 amp service. Now the question will be does my foundation AWD purchase help offset the cost. I’ll get it regardless.
Single phase. Far as I know you would need an industrial connection to have 3 phase power at your house. Most neighborhoods have a single phase from the local substation.
I picked up my AWD Cybertruck a week ago and found to my dismay that my 400 amp service and powershare don't go together. Searching through the posts it appears that Tesla has confirmed you can connect to and power your house through a powerwall. What I wasn't able to find is anyone here...
I'm glad that they are giving me an allowance instead of just the powershare equipment as after reading the print I am not going to be able to install powershare.

I just picked up my AWD cybertruck Friday 5/17/24 and seriously want to get my Powershare and charger installed. I am just using the 110 volt charging cable that came with the truck until then. Has anyone tried to add one bank of Powerwall 3 at the same time your Powershare and level 2 charger...
I moved all the money to my bank account and paid through the app. Shortly after I got the message to schedule my pickup and I did for tomorrow at the closest delivery center.
I was sent the "pay for your truck now notice" and logging in I see a VIN number that I had no idea when it showed up. I liked the idea of smoother riding tires but not enough to delay any longer. My RN starts with RN1129 and am now in Tennessee. I have seen various opinions on paying ahead...
I just got the message to pay in full (cash buy) to avoid delays, no VIN. What have others experienced if they paid in full over the app without a VIN? Time frames?
Yeah, I think as long as we keep buying them at an extra 20k, they will keep selling it. I had always planned to do the hook up to power the house thing and full self-driving so it wasn't costing me the whole 20k anyhow. The main thing though was life is too short and we have waited a long...
I reserved 3 days after the reveal with a reservation number RN1129... I had figured I would wait for the non foundation series right up until I get the option to order one today. I have pretty much talked myself into getting it but I couldn't find posts specific to how long can I wait after...
