I tried to get the deliver location changed from Colma to Vallejo and they did not know how and said someone from the Cybertruck team would have to call me back. They also said my order was on hold until the 18th. ???
What number did you call? Did you just try and call the Vallejo store? I'd like to change mine for the next attempt to delivery versus spending 3 hours to go see a dirty scratched up truck.
Where did the originally have you picking it up? They sent me to Colma and I was wondering why it didn't go to Vallejo. Do you know if they've delivered any there before? I'm guessing they're just wanting to save money and deliver them all to one store if they can get away with it.
When I was looking at mine I was wondering if those would come off. They told me they couldn't fix the scratch. I've seen someone else here post, they had theirs fixed but the picture looked like it was still there. Pics of my delivery.
What were the issues, did it have any scratches? I was told they can't really fix those and said they knew from experience. I was ready for alignment issues and such but not alignment issues, dirt, mud and scratches.
That looks nice, like they actually detailed it and used Bar Keepers Friend. Mine came like this: 12-9-orders-nor-cal-vin-waiting-room.11735/post-240793
I'm sure you will have better weather, they should have power and you look to be way closer that I am. Just be sure to check everything and bring someone that can help look for stuff, because they don't seem to.
I don't know but that is what they told me. They said from experience it would not look right. Maybe one of the DeLorean guys can comment, though it's not the same recipe of stainless steel. @DMC-81
Maybe they just show it to the next guy that doesn't care, wants to wrap it anyway and wants the...
Like you need to live steam the whole thing or it didn't happen? Someone got it all dirty, half cleaned it, put scratches on it, then they drove it on the lot and took pics just to pull one over on you?
I passed on mine after seeing a scratch and being told there is no good/easy way to fix it. Seem like you need to count on getting it warped as well. Paint is not as durable but at least you can paint and buff a spot and not really notice it had a scratch.

I don't know which dealerships do it and doesn't seem like they all do, but I did specifically tell them I wasn't interested in any fanfare type stuff. I just wanted them to focus on the truck, that it was clean and didn't have any issues.
I'm not sure how long it would take but they said they can put you back in line to get a VIN. So you're not back in line to get the truck as though you had just put in a reservation.
I was surprised to get mine and I never received an email or was able to schedule anything in the app, they just called and said hey, come get it. They said they all come really dirty and needed a few days to clean it but I think that's BS. They spray them down and wipe them off before you get...
No, I assume they just offer the truck to the next person who's more forgiving. I'm not sure. Maybe that's why so many people are wrapping them. They just want to have the truck now and don't care about marks and scratches and whatever, they are just going to wrap it anyway.
I ended up going today but I passed on it. There were several light scratches and then one deeper scratch on the right rear panel. They said they can't fix those. They have to sand it down and then you can always see where they sanded it down.
There were marks on the driver door panel where the...
I'm supposed to pick it up today but with the rain and wind in the Bay area I'm feeling like it might not be a good idea. The power also just went out here and the wind's strong enough to blow the trash cans around. I tried to text the contact and it replies with a message saying the service is...
