I’ve asked the reps several times about FSD transfer and this is the same answer I’ve received / that the transfer will pop up in my tasks during the process. Also that so long as the FSD transfer is tied to the same email it will go through. I’ve not gotten to that stage of the process yet…
So I have a 4400 Vin early delivery model, currently 32k miles, really has been a great truck
Thinking of trading to a new build given the FSD transfer promo & $1k loyalty credit running right now
Looking for first hand experience if anyone has driven both or done a similar trade
The research...
I'm at 32,000 miles over last 19 months
Last night it showed 313 miles of range at full charge.
Given it showed 320 when new at 100% charge, I'll call that win also!
This is 100% an issue for anyone driving in snow - snow simply builds-up on the ledge of the bumper and blocks the headlights (which produce no appreciable heat and are incapable of melting any snow or ice)
Couple the blocked headlights with the lightbar at top of frunk reflecting off of falling...
Agreed that Clips are easy to break
(mine did, though I was being careful)
Could not source the replacement part easily or quickly
So... I used 2part epoxy to hold clips in place
Worked like a charm
Buy the monthly exterior wash pass at your local car wash and use it.
We get a lot of salt and I run the truck through the carwash every week or so.
All good and looks like new.
(28,000 miles and many of them salty)
Swapped out my original ATs for K03s (after 28k miles) on Friday.
Spent weekend round-tripping 350 miles to Vermont on them
Some snow, some ice
Overall takeaway:
Slightly more noisy that stock Goodyear ATs at highway speeds, but not really that bad (my scientific view), more of a low grumble...
Not sure about that process
For me, after 1.5 years and 27,000 miles, my range at 100% charge shows 309 miles.
380.1 W/mile over that time on stock tires.
Switching to K03 tomorrow
Literally no major issues (accelerator pedal rivet, one original Wrangler tire threw a belt and came...
And what do you mean by windshield seals fallen down? Do you have pics? Curious to see this and what's going on. May help others here with a bit more detail
I've been so on the fence for these Platinum LTX tires - but need them to work in snow, ice and our regular travel to ski races across Vermont and New Hampshire - so have waited to pull the trigger. Then I started reading the reviews on tirerack.com - reviewers going out of their way to mention...
For those with experience, what's the difference in noise level in K03 vs Goodyear Territory?
I've got K03s on my Raptor, love them, but can't tell how loud they are with our AWE exhaust...
I'm about stuck between K03, LTX Platinum and another set of Territory
in my experience, the Tesla route planner is very accurate and I just use that
we've been from Connecticut to Cleveland, Connecticut to Buffalo, Connecticut to Phila and back with no problems
only issue is when you have a quick turn at your destination and there's no easy way depart with a 100%...
These babies are currently in my TIreRack shopping cart.
$495 each.
Really strongly considering as I'm at 27k miles on my original Goodyear tires.
Was hoping they may be quieter than OEM
Just thinking out loud here - there's no way it's a reverse thread is there?
I read the Tesla Cybertruck wheel removal instructions and it doesn't specify.
Just seems odd that you were able to round-off a grade 8.8 hex bolt...
