Cybertruck Safety - airbags, impact bumper, etc?

Hey ryan welcome I do know air bags are required for all vehicles so we know that much. Others on site have much more information about your question so be patient and they will respond.

Elon is "one of our great geniuses" says President

I don’t want to start political grievances here on our CT club, but I would like to raise a point. It’s interesting that after the 3 plus years of ignoring sustainability, ignoring environment, promoting oil and coal, and ignoring science, that the pres is all about Tesla. Elon is a genius...

    Cybertruck trash talk from Jalopnik

My bride hates it, thinks it’s ridiculous and it lacks any aesthetic value what so ever. I can’t say she has no taste because she chose me. Difficult argument indeed.

John, im in the same boat. I think, actually I know, our spouses enjoy these sorts of acts. So in retribution, when and if a CT is my possession, I won’t give her rides. Anywhere. ( you and I know this is a loosing battle we will never win but I feel better)

Yea I liked the concept as well and it would be very popular in the US. Somewhere between the roadster and the 3 size wise. I just felt he was talking smack about the CT. .

    Cybertruck trash talk from Jalopnik

Thanks man. I guess im bias because I only could see the negative in his piece. Your response is exactly why I asked the CT group. I feel like a protective big brother defending the CT, when in reality, the CT can protect itself.

    Cybertruck trash talk from Jalopnik

I think you’re approach is smart and right on point. It is amazing how polarizing anything, any subject, any opinion, has taken hold in our lives. Especially in the last 3 years..... but hey no politics either!! I personally like Ford over Chevy but I like both cats and dogs.

Can a CT be realistically kept outside?

You are lucky with your Dodge. Almost all around here have wheel well rot. Even ones 3or4 years old. Not to start anything negative, but you did answer the poll with your opinion and reply.

Can a CT be realistically kept outside?

Normal use will expose CT even more elements wouldn’t it?? Will this beast even fit in traditional car wash to say, wash off road salt?

    4-Wheel steering

For urban cowboys street rolling, don’t think so. However, off road warriors would benefit I would think. Could this be an option or upgrade, I think so. Question of the bed width is valid. But would off roading 4ws only engage when full lift is engaged. I don’t know but worthy of debate.

The Cyber will be the most expensive thing I have ever bought INCLUDING my house.

I does sound memorable Luke. I think what they will remember the most is being “ pinned “ to the back wall of the CT when you mash the pedal.

    Tesla JamCyberee Cyjamberee Cyberee?

I like it. But it’s not just the CT, but the people that own the CT. Like minded forward thinking pioneers of the truth of future. Pioneer. That is the definition of the CT owner

    CT appearance

914 is still one of my favorite of the Porsches. The pop up headlights on the 928 was always cool to me as well. Form following function is also the premise with BMW 2002. Also one of my favorite. German design and engineering, go figure. Boxes on wheels true, badass nonetheless.

    Lift kit for Cybertruck?

Good information. I’m in the belief that lowering would reduce drag even more. Truth be told, im one of those idiots that lowers everything. I just like the look and improved handling. Adjustable Bags in all 4 corners would obviously allow ride height changes. overcoming bump stop computer...
