  2. Non-PowerShare home power

Central heat and cool.. but it is a furnace for heat . Actual two separate. A bigger one for basement and 1st floor.. smaller for upstairs
  3. Powershare ineligible "at this time"

Did you get the beast or AWD? Are they giving free year of Supercharging instead of the $2500 voucher now?

  5. Non-PowerShare home power

Excellent thank you. Ya the AC would be nice but we have 3400sq’ and a daylight basement that is pretty much always cool. Heat in the winter would be nice if something were to happen..
  6. Non-PowerShare home power

Has anyone on here actually supplied their house with a Cybertruck through normal generator ways, not PowerShare?
  7. Non-PowerShare home power

This is very helpful thank you! Ya in a power outage, AC (or heat in the winter) is nice if it works, then it is the fridge and maybe powering internet and a tv to watch movies in the outage.. we have a gas stove, so… I won’t run my whole house as normal, but AC (like today is 100 out), and...

What do you mean? I’m just curious if that would work? Trying to go into the thing fully loaded with the knowledge needed, so I set my expectations correctly
  9. Non-PowerShare home power

But it would be enough to switch on central HVAC, fridge and a few things like internet? why manually touched? Basically open the truck? Thanks for the response!
  10. Non-PowerShare home power

Ok Electricians and those much smarter at power than me. I am due to receive my CTAWD next week, and we just recently had a power outage here in suburb Portland. I have an electrician buddy who could install a manual transfer switch for a portable generator for pretty dang cheap. so a couple...
  11. Delivery Disappointment

eeek there is part of the problem.. not all, but part I thought you were talking about delivery at a service center. Might want to clarify that in the title .. kinda click bait-y
  12. Cybertruck brings the haters...

Ya it’s strange up here in Oregon. I love both sets of friends, but maybe Oregon is a different type of left..? I hate politics so I won’t go down that rabbit hole on this forum. I think teslas are awesome and I am excited for my CT!
  13. Ordered a Rivian R1T after owning a Cybertruck for three months

Don’t forget the build is to eliminate parts and drive costs down, thus being able to sell them for cheaper and make more margin to help the business… as Elon said, pinching pennies… every bolt they eliminate adds up in millions of cars, supplier payments, personnel to manage the buying process…
  14. Cybertruck brings the haters...

Also, I don’t have time for those who hate Elon like that … every time I ask for one specific thing they hate about him (usually my left leaning friends), they can’t produce one specific example… they just don’t want to admit he doesn’t align with their politic bubble.. at least my right leaning...
  15. Cybertruck brings the haters...

This is it.. butts in seats.. let them ride or drive… shoot it worked for me like 3 years ago.. I was a ā€˜skeptical EV guy’. Then I rode in a Y, then drove one… haven’t looked back since. Any of my co-workers who criticize it, I will let them drive it… guarantee it will at least slow their...
  16. Ordered a Rivian R1T after owning a Cybertruck for three months

    The moment they touted Rivian’s ā€œAutonomy featuresā€, I immediately stopped reading….
  17. CT Dual or REV Ram Charger

I think the lightning, Silverado and REV will be fine trucks… but did you see ford with the lightning? Two years and they still aren’t close yet on affordability/not losing a crap ton… It takes such effort to drive down costs and get them to scale. Dodge won’t be able to wave a magic wand and...
  18. CT Dual or REV Ram Charger

I REALLY doubt the REV will be $65k… Tesla is UBER conscious of driving down build costs to drive down truck/car costs to make a profit. And they are in the 70s. If the RAMREV is 65k, I would guarantee they are taking a massive loss that isn’t sustainable coll
