Excellent thank you. Ya the AC would be nice but we have 3400sqā and a daylight basement that is pretty much always cool. Heat in the winter would be nice if something were to happen..
This is very helpful thank you! Ya in a power outage, AC (or heat in the winter) is nice if it works, then it is the fridge and maybe powering internet and a tv to watch movies in the outage.. we have a gas stove, so⦠I wonāt run my whole house as normal, but AC (like today is 100 out), and...
What do you mean? Iām just curious if that would work? Trying to go into the thing fully loaded with the knowledge needed, so I set my expectations correctly
But it would be enough to switch on central HVAC, fridge and a few things like internet?
why manually touched? Basically open the truck?
Thanks for the response!
Ok Electricians and those much smarter at power than me.
I am due to receive my CTAWD next week, and we just recently had a power outage here in suburb Portland. I have an electrician buddy who could install a manual transfer switch for a portable generator for pretty dang cheap.
so a couple...
eeek there is part of the problem.. not all, but part
I thought you were talking about delivery at a service center. Might want to clarify that in the title .. kinda click bait-y
Ya itās strange up here in Oregon. I love both sets of friends, but maybe Oregon is a different type of left..? I hate politics so I wonāt go down that rabbit hole on this forum. I think teslas are awesome and I am excited for my CT!
Donāt forget the build is to eliminate parts and drive costs down, thus being able to sell them for cheaper and make more margin to help the business⦠as Elon said, pinching pennies⦠every bolt they eliminate adds up in millions of cars, supplier payments, personnel to manage the buying processā¦
Also, I donāt have time for those who hate Elon like that ⦠every time I ask for one specific thing they hate about him (usually my left leaning friends), they canāt produce one specific example⦠they just donāt want to admit he doesnāt align with their politic bubble.. at least my right leaning...
This is it.. butts in seats.. let them ride or drive⦠shoot it worked for me like 3 years ago.. I was a āskeptical EV guyā. Then I rode in a Y, then drove one⦠havenāt looked back since. Any of my co-workers who criticize it, I will let them drive it⦠guarantee it will at least slow their...
I think the lightning, Silverado and REV will be fine trucks⦠but did you see ford with the lightning? Two years and they still arenāt close yet on affordability/not losing a crap tonā¦
It takes such effort to drive down costs and get them to scale. Dodge wonāt be able to wave a magic wand and...
I REALLY doubt the REV will be $65k⦠Tesla is UBER conscious of driving down build costs to drive down truck/car costs to make a profit. And they are in the 70s. If the RAMREV is 65k, I would guarantee they are taking a massive loss that isnāt sustainable
