I know. How many more lights can this guy put on his truck? Well, this is replacing some lights that i had already added, with something new! Possibly a first! My Zombie lights (formerly Big Foot lights) always made some wind noise and were subject to damage by branches. Or Zombies. This is...
Time is money! But so is money! Most of the hotels i stay at have a close SC, some accross the street. And the majority of them have much cheaper charging before 8am. some are almost half price. The one that is accross the street, i will drive over and leave the truck charging while i eat...
aren't the tesla mounts QR? I thought they were integrated into the bar. I have the RPM bars. they are welded mild steel. and pretty thick. I agree about the 3D printed may not hold up to the stress.
its only 2 wires not 3 or 4. Can it change voltage based on whether its connected to a load? I cannot recall whether i first tested it with it unplugged. I think i unplugged it first.
I tapped into the lightbar power do drive it with the relay. 4 wires. outside pair are 48v and a little bigger...
Most USB uses 5v, but I already have a High Wattage USB charger in the frunk that runs on 12v from my stepdown. It will charge a laptop which a standard USB won't.
But maybe that was their thought, why else would you have 5v?
Got them installed finally. THIS TRUCK! Is anything predictable? I was tapping into the existing Frunk light so that it would work with the opening and closing. What voltage would you expect? I had read that everything was 48v. Then i found a few points that were 12v. Well guess what, the frunk...
Haven't posted here in a while. I need to get caught up. I found these cool lights on Alibaba, a Chinese version of Amazon. I haven't mounted them yet as I just got them but i was able to test them with my lab power supply. They run on 12 to 85 volts. I saw that in one of the pictures not the...
I had planned on buying the range extender as well, but didn't put down a deposit. That was before i found out that it would take up a third of my bed. Then after taking delivery and driving for a few weeks, i realized i didn't really need it. Yes, the extra range would be nice, but it would...
Those are not Tesla colors, they are trailer colors. And they are not universal. they vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. They are just the most often colors. The pins are the same always.
Something happened. I'm thinking that was supposed to be the price for each not both. They are no longer on Amazon, but are still on AliExpress. the list price there is almost double what they were on Amazon, now selling for $362. Ali is always cheaper than Amazon.
High-quality Automotive Parts...
just run from the 7 pin. that leaves the 4 pin free for trailering.
