Pure PPF Teal Topaz Wrap Cybertruck by Diamond Auto Salon

What are the decals exactly? I mean, I know you can't print on PPF, so what makes the black designs?

Lemonade Insurance makes Tesla offer to insure FSD miles for "almost free"

The continual repitition of the same mistakes, every single time, despite disengaging and telling Tesla what the mistake was...is the thing that has me more skeptical about true FSD being close, and skeptical about the ever so hyped AI and AGI, and SGI really being as near as Elon and others...

Urander Rack Mega Thread – Post Your Setup!

Come on, that is all you are going to tease us with? That's a pic of the bed of the truck with one window opened up on the right hand side, lol. Hard to see much to identify if it's glass or plexi-glass... 😂

Hot Water Delivery System With Yakima RoadShower Components - DIY Writeup

I spent about an hour a week or so ago writing up a detailed install with all my components (similar to your original post for this thread), including the shower awning I have, with about ten different pictures. It was so long I decided to “preview” it, and I never used that preview option...

Hot Water Delivery System With Yakima RoadShower Components - DIY Writeup

Great setup! How long does it take that 200W element to heat the 4 gallons of water to 120º or 130º? I installed two 8-gallon tanks in mine (16 gallons total) and I am thinking about rigging one up to be heatable.

She’s wrapped! (Custom graphics design wrap)

Really? I was told by my wrappers that vinyl won't stick to plastic well. I was asking them if they could wrap my wheel covers at the time....they said there's no good way to get it to stick to plastic...hmmm... 🤔

Preparing trailer range test with and without a wind deflector....

What don't you like about them? I mean, the Pebble is too short for me, but I like the Lightship. What's not to like?

[Launch] Urander 270° Awning 2nd Gen

@Urander concerning my question here: I am definitely interested in a bigger 270º awning with a hard shell. I am also very interested in your uncoming larger full length RTT. After my first night in my current RTT, it just isn't long enough. When using an additional 4" tall Exped mattress on...

Fix for loose overhead console assembly (where magnetic sunvisors attach)

It just depends on the competency of the particular SC. I posted this above somewhere, by here was my last service entry which I cancelled and fixed myself:

Fix for loose overhead console assembly (where magnetic sunvisors attach)

I just heated it until the plastic was malleable and then pushed on it with something flat. I think I used a piece of wood and a big metal crescent wrench I had. I then “smeared” the plastic to close the spot that was ripped open.

[Launch] Urander 270° Awning 2nd Gen

Well, I definitely like the 95" part, that extra 21" (95" - 74" = 21") really adds a lot more area for shade and rain cover. And I really like the hard cover and it's sleek looking design that goes well with the futuristic look of the Cybertruck. But the trade-off here is that it doesn't cover...

[Launch] Urander 270° Awning 2nd Gen

I love the hardshell concept for both looks and areodynamics. 🤩 Can you post actual dimensions of the canopy, like this?: I literally just installed this Topoak awning this morning (sorry to post competitor's products here, but hey, it's hard to avoid on these forums 😬 🤷). And as you can...

Fix for loose overhead console assembly (where magnetic sunvisors attach)

Yeah, well mine were definitely convex, and that seems to be the problem, I guess: Since you mentioned this is thermoplastic, those of us who live in hotter climates (I'm in California) are probably the ones experiencing this problem as the sun heats these up enough to allow them to deform...

Fix for loose overhead console assembly (where magnetic sunvisors attach)

Did you even read my post? 🤔 There was every need to fix myself. I already brought it to the SC, twice, and they wanted me to come back a third time to replace the entire windshield.

Fix for loose overhead console assembly (where magnetic sunvisors attach)

Uhhhhhh...good point. When I first did this the console popped right back in with a moderate push with the palm of my hand and I was so happy that it felt solid as a rock, after being so limp and constantly falling down for so long, that I didn't want to jinx it by trying to really pull it off...

Fix for loose overhead console assembly (where magnetic sunvisors attach)

Yes, I thought of that first as well. I was about to get the dremel out to drill small holes and get some small black screws but then this heat gun fix dawned on me (thank god 🙏). I highly doubt it. The connection is super solid and did you see how concaved I made that female receptacle? The...

Fix for loose overhead console assembly (where magnetic sunvisors attach)

Yeah, that also crossed my mind as a potential fix. I thought of several ways to do it actually, but I think the heat gun method is the best way to do it that I could come up with. The female receptacle plastic is now permanently reshaped to always grab the male white clip tightly. Shims may...
