@Zantosh76 I actually have some experience with your situation. Here are my thoughts:
Her Chinese friends are going to pick apart every little detail of any new car she buys
They are going to hold it up to the brand standard that cars like Mercedes and Land Rovers set
Exterior styling is one...
I almost signed with PenFed, but then Bank of America was somehow able to beat them, then Tesla beat BofA. I'm wondering if individual applicant factors are influencing rates at this point?
☝This
I would almost advise people with VINs to delay delivery until after the Fed's rate cut announcement in September. Myself I was just too impatient, even switched my CB order to a CT one (with much anxiety). A lot of my neighbors are driving around new CTs now and I have bad FOMO
By pure coincidence my Tesla financing approval expired on the same day as my Cybertruck pick up appointment. When I resubmitted the financing application it was approved with a rate lowered by over half a percentage point. The penalty was that I had to move my pick up date to tomorrow.
Bank of...
Ladies and gentlemen, I feel I triggered some opinions with my collectors item comment. I am talking from experience
I bought a first edition Lexus LC 500 in spring 2017 for $90K, then watched it depreciate then APPRECIATE as demand for it rose, even while new sales volumes increased. Ended up...
Awesome jumps. I live in Austin and will definitely check out this dirt track once I get my Cybertruck
Also good job keeping the tonneau open. Saw a bunch of jump videos where it comes off the tracks if left closed
All of these reasons and more:
- FS CB is already a collector's legend
- EU auctions are pricing FS CBs at hypercar levels
- Once FS ends, FS CB value will skyrocket because it will be the rarest Cybertruck
- You only "think" you don't need the CB speed... until you have it
- You definitely need...
The frame snapping is shocking to me... I guess there really is no replacement for the steel body-on-frame design
Now I really am starting to consider the Silverado EV, with its frame design being another checkbox. I'm RN1151XXXX for a FS Cyberbeast so I still have time to decide
It's coming...
Thank you for this post. It gives me hope for Cybertruck owners ? This is exactly what I intend to do when I finally get mine. I’m scared to do jumps though, but take my Jeep mudding a lot.
?This. Thermal management is top of mind for me as well.
I watched a Tesla tear down and the engineers have Freon flowing all through the vehicle and battery as part of the heat pump system. The only way I see the range extender battery connecting is with all the thermal plumbing being inside...
@Beyond found the same answer I did, while watching Inside Tesla's Cybertruck Battery Pack - Caresoft Teardown (minute 20:50):
@prizla, I think what you want is something that can plug directly into the "Range extender conn" and mimic the official extended range battery?
I went down a...
@prizla I face the same dilemma
That solar panel charger has 1.2 kW output... I would put it in the "useless" category for charging an EV: Cybertruck Charging Instructions
The maximum observed Cybertruck peak charging rate is 327kW
The proven solution is a simple portable generator. Runs on...
