    Buyer's Remorse?

I'm likely going a different direction as the cybertruck is more of a beta version luxury SUV than a work truck. Needs more refinement. I have high hopes for the Cybertruck 2.0 in 2045. In the meantime I'm going to get a Diesel 3/4 ton, and look to replace my car with a Model 2 or a model Y...

Takeaways after owning Cybertruck for 24 hours (updates: factory window tint = 22.9%, scratches pics added)

I'm sure it *could* be added, but I think that feature is designed into the upgraded electrical architecture. I would expect to only see it on new models, not updates. The other consideration is: does the pack size (say on a model 2) have enough capacity to make the option viable? We may only...

Steel Ball Thrown at Cybertruck Window (Glass Strength Test)

Can I ask: Has a hand-tossed baseball ever broken a car window? It seemed like a pretty lame demonstration at the delivery event. I'm surprised they even took the time to recreate it on this video. The steel was impressive tho

    Rust Spots/Corrosion is the Norm

Exactly. If any car could come shrink-wrapped from the factory its a Tesla. Clear shrink and have it drive itself onto the traincar.

    🔴 Iron Man's Cybertruck 📐 FIRST RED WRAP! ⬇️ 100000% NOT CGI

Very nice. I wouldn't have thought red would look this good on a CT. Seriously considering this tinybot wrap on my Mazda3 to freshen up the look.

Do you plan to remove your side mirrors?

Exactly. Blind spots or not, I still look around in addition to using mirrors. Which I will continue to do after looking at cams without mirrors.

Do you plan to remove your side mirrors?

No Doubt in my mind. Here only one mirror is required, but I'd remove all of them on delivery (assuming side hole covers are available). Maybe get a 1" or 2" round bubble mirror to be legally compliant and tuck it somewhere inconspicuous (or magnetic and put it on if I'm stopped) . Then I'd...

Tow Hitch Cover removal is easy (DIY). 4-way and 7-way connectors underneath

I guess they could have made one proprietary connector and included a set of adapters

Cybertruck w/ Full PPF (Clear Film), Ceramic Pro, Gloss Black Hood Wrap, Tint

I think id just go with the gloss clear all over. I like that look

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

To add some perspective, talking in terms of hours driven to hours charging doesn't take into account elevation changes from start to finish, and (even if starting and ending at the same elevation), changes in elevation throughout the trip. So I checked it out on google earth and see that this...

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

Same with gas. Drivers who spend time focused on maxing mpg have experienced that same range of efficiency losses and develop a drive style to suit the goal. With EV's its a little more present because drivers have less margin to waste by driving inefficiently

Cybertruck wash with Dawn Dish Soap (Tesla recommended) vs. Adam's Car Shampoo

What if you use mineral oil to wipe a thin film onto the car, and it didn't show hand prints because it's essentially pre-oiled? Maybe the fancy ceramic coat things do the same

Tesla is Not Treating Us Like Customers

I too will never purchase a Ferrari. Buts it's def a different level than Tesla. You can't even own one because Ferrari keeps the contractual power to take it back from you (re: the 2010's Deadmaus debacle). I believe Tesla would create a better process but hasn't bothered to spend the time...

New official promo video: Cybertruck in <60 secs

Yeah, was it a George Carlin bit? "When you imagine how dumb the average person is, remember half of them are dumber than that!"

Tonneau cover wrap on Cybertruck! 🤩 [closeup video added]

I like the base design, the blue bits are ugly, and I've always hated split side two tone type wraps. Less is more. Id go with the Black hex

Sub-2% conversion rate on Foundation series

Oh, I didn't consider that. Because interest rates are so high (my last car loan was 2.25%) I've been looking from a cash purchase perspective. Probably why I'm more critical about the higher prices and missed opportunities compared to initial reveal.

Interesting observations from visiting local center and seeing Cybertruck

I wondered if it was a two part, how they could keep the seam between the two from making a trail across as it wipes. Turns out the way to do it is to not do that and make one really long one
