    PowerShare does not share

I also lost power today, also in the Seattle area. PowerShare working fine. I do have a UPS for my network but I don’t think that’s necessary. I lost internet during the last wind storm and PowerShare still worked, it was just annoying because there was no way to remotely see the battery level...

New: Levitating Cybertruck in Tesla Shop

Wonder what happens if there’s a power outage. Are they electromagnets? In which case you’ll see the room go dark and then a thump as your levitating cybertruck becomes a paperweight.

Bomb cyclone storm in Seattle. Cybertruck powered my house! PowerShare usage stats.

I just got my power back on after 6 days. Very happy I had PowerShare installed. Similar stats - used about 1% per hour, mostly for lights, internet, devices, water heater (pump is electric, heat is gas) and 2x fridge/freezer. Towards the end I got impatient and ran the clothes dryer, microwave...

    Best insurance provider

https://consumerwatchdog.org/in-the-news/the-free-press-crime-inflation-driving-up-auto-insurance-costs-for-average-americans/ Insurance companies price in crime in your area when calculating your premium.

    Best insurance provider

Around $1050 / 6 months near Seattle with State Farm. Several discounts applied but I also pay the “west coast lax on crime” penalty.

So… any word on aftermarket vault bins?

I have the official divider but use two of those black storage bins from Costco and one smaller bin that is sandwiched between. Perfectly fits in the width dimension so the bins don’t slide around, so you don’t need bins with tracks. The divider keeps the bins pretty well pinned as well.

Places the Cybertruck needs a range extender

That northwesternmost one is North Cascades National Park. Beautiful place but you can’t stray from the main highway in an EV due to range concerns. I charged at Chelan to 100% then drove through the park to the supercharger on the other side. Got there with 20%.

Recommendation for DIY tire rotation equipment?

Cybertruck is a lot easier than the Model 3/Y. It has separate lift points and jack points, so you can use jack stands easily. I haven't actually done it yet but I got a 3 ton floor jack and 4x 3 ton jack stands so I can do the rotations in one shot. For my Y I don't have a good system to put...

    Front backseat kick covers?

I used a thin seat protector I bought a while ago (sorry, I lost the link) that only covers the seat back. Not one of the longer ones that covers the seat back and the seat. Then I flipped it to cover the back of the seat instead. It's not super clean looking, there's the strap at the headrest...

    Tonneau reopening 6" after closing

I have done all of the above. It's annoying but not enough to take it in for service. When enough minor issues pile up I'll take it in and get the recalls taken care of. For now the easiest workaround is to ease it in slowly with the "quick presses on the close button" approach.

    Missed Connections

Nice, I’m at the Issaquah Costco a lot with mine. Today saw a black CT on I-90 that I drove with for a bit.

Anyone got Autopark update? (Assuming no FSD yet)

My CT is installing 2024.32.5.2 now. Release notes has Vision Autopark with a picture of a CT looking for a parking space.

CNN be CNN'ing on Cybertruck [⚠️ ADMIN REMINDER: NO POLITICS]

I love replying to the "people only get the CT for attention" with "then stop giving us so much attention LOL we're good, thanks".

2 Cybertrucks Voyage to the Arctic: Can They Reach the Ocean Without Superchargers?

I couldn't find answers anywhere but I assume they're each bringing a generator and charging the trucks during breaks and at night?

Found this note under my windshield wiper at Kroger … sentry mode missed it

I drive around in the Seattle area and the occasional person gets triggered into some kind of frantic hysteria. Here's a recent one with some thing who looks like it's straight out of a meme dictionary.

My Cybertruck giving birth > to even more generations now 🚼

That's awesome. #3 is the 1:10 RC? and #4 is the 1:24? So there's just one more, the 1:18 official diecast that is always out of stock.

Article on Cybertruck triggering (article attached) -- The Cybertruck: A culture war on wheels

I got this truck because it's awesome and is a good fit for my family's needs. The fact that it triggers overly political lemmings is a happy bonus. I live in the Seattle/Bellevue area, home of exactly the kind of people that get triggered. So far I've gotten mostly positive reactions, very...

    Cybertruck brings the haters...

Had an enthusiastic thumbs up from someone in the Costco parking lot today, and a thumbs down from some teenage girls on the side of the road. In both cases, they got a happy smile and a thumbs up from me. The teenager's reaction was hilarious, she thought I misunderstood her and was frantically...
