Oh yeah, I've been playing with ABRP for years and we all know the range on Tesla's is less than advertised. Kind of why I'm banking on a 500 mile version, that gives me *real* 450 mile range in perfectly ideal conditions. But I have to keep reminding myself that not everyone needs to use the...
What a huge bummer if that turns out to be true and it's a Sub-300 range. Even something less that 350 is terrible, IMO. It's going to be very interesting to see what Tesla says about range at the launch. Over half your orders are because of the long range. If they're battery constrained, this...
Honestly, these are the best photos of the truck yet! It's crazy how in other shots, I wonder why I love it and then I see these and realize how awesome it is! Whoever took these, thank you.
Yes please! It would be great to see your analysis on how many cells they can actually fit. I always had a strong feeling they could get enough to push the range over 550 miles
Used more for a metric when it comes to price after the announcement. If the price is north of $70k, I suspect we'll know what the first 6 months production number looks like. Same for any number south of $60k. If they expect 200k/yr, they'll need a very low cost, IMO. At least after 6 months...
I wouldn't pay $60k for one. But, if that's the way we're heading at the end of this month, guess I'll be sitting out until the 500 mile version is released, if ever. Don't see them selling very many $70k, 300 mile trucks. Can't imagine the market can sustain a price like for the volume they're...
I expect an email saying $140k. For real. No way they price this under $75k. I better not see any peasants or common folk driving them around for at least 10 years!

Honest question. Who cares? You want to add a wrap? Great. You want to keep SS? Great. Your car, your choice. Well, at least until the supreme court gets involved.
You know, I was one of those people who wasn't going to do any wrap at all. But holy shit! It looks so much better in Matte Black. Now I want to see one in Aspen White
You are all nuts if you think any model is over $79k. What moron would pay $80k for a sub-500 mile range Cybertruck? I guess Tesla should charge this much to get through all the idiots with too much money for the first 6 months of production. It worked well for the model 3.
I think the cells are where they need to be for the 500 mile version. The only issue is can they make enough to fill the orders. Right now, it looks like they can't. From what I've read, cell lines 3-4 will start producing end of the year, begining of next. I have a feeling that's the missing...
I don't want to believe you, but if they do only release those 2 versions, it'll be a shit-show. Double so if the performance version is anything above $60k. I think if you're right, they will also announce the 500 mile range one. If they don't let you configure and put a deposit down for that...
The best 2 models for the Cybertruck will be the Dual Motor LR and Single Motor LR. Won't happens for YEARS, but once they get through all of us diehards and all the reservation holders, I could see them producing those for a killer deal. Problem is, we won't see it for probably 5-10 years, lol
