Lol. They were in production hell with the 3 and it supposedly almost ended Tesla. Yet , they still managed to sell a $35k version. I'm actually in the opposite camp then you and think there's no way they sell one for over $90k
I don't read it as expensive at all, just difficult. Bending and cutting cheap steel probably isn't quick and on this scale, never done before. It sounds a little similar to production hell to me. But, maybe that's me hoping that's all it is. ?
I'm going to guess here. I have a feeling this is more "timeframe" related. As in, we may learn more about specific dates for unveiling and/or production start.
I agree. I remember the other thread where everyone talked about the differences between all these different names for pre-production cars. Can someone dumb it down? I'm confused on where we're at now, lol.
Nope, not the same. It's like buying a PC with Windows 10 installed and you want to remove it and run Linux. Like my previous analogy, where the PC maker locked an extra 8gb memory using Windows 10, but by running Linux, you now have access to it. It being the physical hardware.
It's Tesla's choice to add those batteries, as you said. It's also their choice to include hardware for heated seats. I didn't ask and I didn't want it. It's now my car, so I'm going to use it. Exactly like I'd do with the bacon that was added to my burger. I'm going to eat it.
To the software...
Honestly, it sounds like you're struggling with your own self and possibly, conflicting moral/ethical views of right/wrong within a capitalistic society that puts profit over people.
Please explain how you would go about returning it then. You keep saying you didn't pay for it, but it's in your...
I also wonder if this because they're ramping up the production line. Got to take control now that they'll be producing a lot more between now and the official unveiling
I can't believe I never thought about that before. You're right. I've plowed through some high snow before and it was not fun. I wonder how much light the running light puts out? Really wishing that light bar in the windshield was still around
I did notice you didn't reply to the other post, buy you did reply to my joking one, lol
It's not about entitlement or stealing, it's about the physical thing being in existence and included in the product I purchased. You can talk about it being software locked all you want, but after I give...
I'm glad you went there and not me. I don't think you'll get many anti-capitalists or even, anti-consumerists on this forum. Ego is a strong thing and makes it extremely hard for others to think outside of their institutionalized way of thinking.
