AWD or Beast? What’s your location? I got my VIN fast but I’m also within 20 min of multiple show rooms and Tesla service centers in western WI. I was RN1128.

All the million initial preorder holders thought the truck was gonna be $40k with 500 miles of range. I don’t think it has anything to do with cancellations and everything to do with pricing and location.

I also just used a VIN decoder and my truck year says 2024.

I went with core wheels and intend to buy the winter wheel package setup.

So went from 0-100 pretty fast. After all my initial issues, I completed the order on 10/5 and was just now assigned a VIN. I uploaded my insurance detail and it sounds like I’m gonna have a delivery date assigned shortly. Almost can’t believe it will go that quick, but I’ll let everyone know.

The Tesla website says that Foundation series is all first model year Cybertrucks. I’ll be curious then if all non-foundation will automatically be MY25.

RN1128 and I ordered. For what it’s worth (because I had to go into the showroom locally on Saturday to order as the internet/app wouldn’t work) they told me I should expect the truck in October and a VIN as early as Monday/Tuesday. We will see!

You can buy the bed rings in the shop from what I can tell. Like $25 bucks?

Quick update. The issue is with selecting the wall connector as an accessory on the non foundation series page. I deselected it and the order went through. Annoying still, but at least that’s been done. Needed a new wall connector as I move in 2 weeks but I’m just gonna grab it separate now.

I still can’t order this thing. Tesla doesn’t know why, and by the way, no one there seems to know people are actually about to order the non-foundation series which makes an annoying situation extra annoying.

An annoying bummer. Tried on my app, on my phone website, on my desktop, on my Mac. Tried using Apple Pay, tried using my debt and credit card. No dice.

I got the invite at 4:30pm CST and have tried to order multiple times with multiple cards. It keep saying payment method declined but its not even going through my bank or my card. I texted Tesla they said their sites been down but I'm not buying it. Any ideas on what to try or just go to sleep...
