One of the all time great standup comedy clips! Right up there with South Park Wheel of Fortune and Clayton Bigsby! Boy do I miss the days where we could all just take a joke and laugh!
Ok, the cats out of the bag. Iāve tried keeping it a secret but I might as well come out. Iām one of the popular black folk youāre referencing. š¤£. Well at least in my dreams I am! Haha
I decided to connect the mini to my PeakDo battery that I have stored/secured in my bed, using this L-Track mounted bag.

This way the mini is just in sleep mode and when I need it, I donāt have to go through an entire reboot.
I then have the Starlink power cord...
Love it! Looks great! Hope the weighted mount works for you as itās been great for me so far.
What swivel mount did you go with for the attachment? Looks nice!
Itās absolutely possible and if Iām honest, itās bound to happen at some point. Now with that being said, it would either have to be ripped off, which would require quite a bit of strength and would probably catch someoneās attention, or someone would have to have the right sized wrench on them...
Congrats! Youāll love it!
Iāve always had a strange reaction when holding mobile phones next to my head, so itās more precautionary than any hard science. Just want to limit RF exposure but I guess I could put tinfoil underneath it as well. Chances are of course slim, but also didnāt want...
External mount from Mars AG:

Suits our needs perfectly as didn't want it inside the cabin for extended periods of time.
The mount doesnāt allow the PeakDo to be directly attached as intended, but I can...
Thatās correct. The base comes exactly as shown in the picture. That central piece is already attached to the weighted base. Thereās a 1/4ā thread hole on the base and thatās what is used to attach it to the Peak-Do. I had to purchase the 1/4ā male to male screw separately. You can see the...
Your wish is my command! Haha. Sorry about that as should have added it.

Sorry for the delay everyone but here it is. I was able to mount the weighted pad to the Starlink with a double end male thread screw. Iāve been using it for the past week with the Starlink on the dashboard and havenāt had any issues. Looks like it might be a winner for me when I want the...
For a visual, here is what is being attempted to be solved. I decided to go with a bumper lightbar that Iāll be covering with an amber tint. This accumulation was during a 34 minute drive at 24 degrees, with snow falling at approximately 1.25ā/hr.
Those are standard 1/4ā screw holes for various mounting or tripod options. Iāve only ever used the central one.
That black is just a protective silicone cover. Iām mounting my mini outside when we travel so itās just to give it some semblance of protection from the outdoors. Weāve had sub...
