The tailgate fasteners will be flush mount so as not to catch anything loaded into the bed. Also there will be shims/reinforcements to prevent any bending of the cap as it is tightened down into place.

If you watch the video it talks about how the upper sail panels need a slight bend to follow the contour of the glass roof. It’s easy to do just slight pressure over your knee every 8-12 inches. If you’re asking if the seller could pre bend I think it’s kind of impractical/ would increase...
