I don't get a big red dust build up anymore it's more just black road junk. But I do wash the truck weekly and the wheels are coated with C5. You can see how the junk now just runs off in the foam pic.
I agree the rear wheels do get a lot of dust on the rear wheels. I think the red is part of the bedding of the brake pads. Now why the rears get it so bad? Maybe traction control? I think it's because of the air flow under the truck builds pressure and the spinning wheel is venting some of the...
I found one also on the drivers side floor board. I pulled it apart for the pic. My truck has 10,000 miles on it I don't think its a freebie dropped at the factory.
I ordered 2 sets of wheels for my truck ( 1 set silver and a different set in black )
I don’t need the black wheels
Brand new still in the box.
If you haven’t see mine with the silver wheels I added a pic of them they are not for sale just the set of black wheels
If you’re close to a Discount tire store you can stop in and they will give you plastic bags that fit our wheels and tires free.
or if you want a more permanent bag you can buy them from TireRack.com
Just an install tip for the body pins. I used the Christmas tree type push pins and they worked so much better !!
The front top body pins are too short to properly engage. Try it and let me know.
Just installed the mud flaps and the front top body pins are too short I think.
Anyone else have problems and what was the fix ? I broke 2 trying to seat them.
I'm thinking a little longer pin..
I didn't get the Beast and now I have light bar envy. I hope they offer the light bar in the Tesla shop after they get all the foundation Beast customers taken care of... If you have a Factory light bar just sitting around ...
who has light bar envy ?
Squeek? Only turning ? Take a look see if it's the tires RUBBING the plastic fender liner. Cut the wheel all the way and get out and look say the 3 and 9 o'clock. That would be my guess..
