Congrats! I got a VIN 12XX last Sat, then called up Tesla delivery today and found mine is ready for delivery on 31st if no issue on transit. so less than 2weeks from VIN. I am at San Jose and delivery will be at Sunnyvale.

I calculated backwards. there was a guy who were able to downgrade FS order to standard and was told earliest delivery was 10/31/24. I think this is the very optimistic schedule just like they said April for very recent order. so making it simple, FS throughout 2024. then start non fs in 2025...

Sadly I have to agree with you. there is no non-fs, no rear motor in his head now. All CT starts from $100K for him and looking for an opportunity to increase:(

I called up Tesla today, sales rep told me they could not do this. Only possible modification to my order is to cancel. and once I cancel, I will lose my queue. btw I did not have VIN yet. I am afraid once VIN is issued, I can not do anything. any advice?

Found that Amex can not issue that convenience check for me. they have auto-purchase program, but Tesla is not in that program. Also learned Tesla most likely will not accept that convenience check. so I gave up using CC or acquiring points :(
