Updates download automatically on WiFi, sometimes even on cellular if an update addresses critical issues, it's installation that you have to start manually. If you see a message in your app that a software update is available - it has been already download to your Tesla. I'm not sure "Advanced"...
Tesla will announce insurance in Florida on Mon, Dec 15 but from what I've read it's not very competitive and at times causes wild fluctuation in premium.
For those that have or had Tesla insurance on their CT - what's your opinion?
Not a complete 100% fix BUT my dry wipes reduced by 99%, maybe 1 or 2 the last 2 months, after cleaning the windshield in front of the main camera cluster, check if yours need cleaning
Right, that's exactly what I'm suggesting: when navigation starts signaling the upcoming turn, press the turn button either in the same or opposite direction (doesn't matter) - have to do this rather quickly before the maneuver starts and possibly more than once which would not cancel the FSD...
yeah, 100% no "peeling"
degrading as in chaffing/scraping off by one getting in and out, especially happing to multiple vehicles/models. Would be the same as to say that my car's hood paint is "peeling" off while I slide across it daily

Yeah, I would agree with the installer. I've had similar waviness on one of my previous X and on the very early VIN FS CT but not on the latest production. CT was pretty bad in 3 or 4 spots where the road marking would actually break apart into separate miniature segments
it was always like this, regardless of added slat or not. I think you misunderstood what the OP is asking about, these are the bars, and they were always there
I cross rail road multiple times per day, various configuration, some with gates some without, many times being the first and never encountered this. I find FSD is pretty good even judging the space AFTER the crossing and if not enough space to completely clear the rails, it waits before...
