I'm in the same boat with you. If my expected delivery is 4 more months...I'm OK with that. Of course I'm excited to get it, but it'll get here when it gets here. No amount of hoping or calling and badgering SC employees will make it happen any sooner.
What was your timeframe on configuration? I don’t think I’ve heard of a VIN being assigned so quickly. Especially not less than a month from config date.
This very well could be true. Early adopters were very anxious and excited. I know I am. Many of them may have not wanted to wait the extra time for a Beast. Maybe they’ll exceed the time expectations…but then I remind myself…Its Tesla! Early isn’t usually in their vocabulary! Ha
I did. I went with tactical grey, and had initially ordered the all season tires and couldn’t stand the look, so I switched back to all terrain. I have the typical Oct-Dec 24 timeframe.
I hope that day comes sooner rather than later for you. It seems many CB’s are trending approximately 4 months order to VIN. I hope that’s the case for me, but then it would be a big over deliver from the estimates Oct-Dec 24. I’m not sure what to think between trend and estimate. I’ll...
I selected “vehicle details” then “manage order” at the bottom of that page. It took me to a web browser page. (I used the app on my phone.). From there I was able to change my order.
My Beast order was "late 2024" which i always kind of assumed was Oct-Dec. When i changed my interior color, it was as you show. I'm not really surprised. That's what i had understood as late 24 anyhow.
Same here. It’s what I assumed “late 2024” was anyhow, now it’s just being said. I was afraid changing to Tactical Grey would affect timing, but it didn’t.
It’s a business decision. Even if the profit margin were lower for AWD, the volume or take rate is so much higher, it just makes sense to focus on pushing those models out. It’s not vindictive toward buyers or anything else. We’ve ALL been waiting for 4.5 years for this, a few more months...
You will regret not getting what you want if you have the ability. I want my truck quickly also, but have been dead set on a Beast since it was called tri-motor. Estimate was late 2024. Sure, it’s a long wait with others enjoying their trucks, but if you’re wanting the torque of the Beast...
It’s a smaller % of a much larger number, which still yields a decent number of CBs. Probably based on demand for CB which seems like is significantly less than takers for AWD.
