That seems reasonable, you can bet on a “Tesla robotaxi public release before 2026” on https://kalshi.com/markets/kxrobotaxiout/robotaxi-release
My money is on “before 2026” ?
I actually see it working great already on freeways, city streets, and parking lots - in both California and Oregon.
Take a look at the video below for example where Cybertruck on full self-driving (FSD) handles 4- way stops, a stopped garbage truck, and more.
It’s hard to predict an exact...
The reading of signs by the Tesla full self-driving (FSD) AI works great in my experience.
I’ve used it in many cities in the states of California and Oregon and it reads the speed limits and adjusts properly.
I was just on highway 97 in the Oregon high desert, from Klamath Falls to Bend, the...
I’m more comparing it to the “HD Maps” that are needed for LIDAR based solutions - these are called “maps” but they are way more than that, with details on elevation and every object in a given route.
Tesla FSD does not need that - and for example it worked flawlessly in a private road and...
My latest Cybertruck FSD video, watch in 4k -
While waiting for FSD 13, here's a video of FSD 12.5.5.3 on our Cybertruck driving us through fog in the San Joaquin Valley in California.
Tesla FSD is so good, I've now added an additional video to make it more interesting - video sped up to 8x...
In this 5 minutes video, I we hit a tree on the I-5 highway in northern California. There was lot of wind that day and this tree just ended up being in the middle of our lane.
We managed to avoid most of the tree, our side view mirror took a hit and survived. Some were not as lucky.
Watch in...
@CyberTruckeeTheOne it's easy to look at your posts and see how negative you are on Tesla. You seem to play this game of inserting some positive sentiment only to follow with a bunch of anti-Tesla BS.
Is Toyota paying you? ?
As I mentioned earlier-
I wonder how many of these fakes are around...
The folks who use FSD daily disagree - and one thing is for sure, your Toyota 4Runner won’t have FSD. ?
You have no idea on when it’ll be ready - but you get ready buddy, because UNSUPERVISED FSD is coming to California and Texas before July 2025. ?? ?
Thanks!
I used -
1. A GoPro Hero 12.
2. This car roof camera mount https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F1NG6DY/
3. This extension rod https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CZ164JZ (sometimes a couple)
For editing the video I used Final Cut Pro X on a Macbook Pro M1 - I learned how to use it by going...
Exactly, it’s awesome that so many of us can see how great FSD is!
I’m sure there’s some valid criticism, especially for older versions - but it wouldn’t surprise me if some of these negative Nancys have some interest in complaining.
Even in this thread, it looks like two separate...
That's awesome!
> I estimated that our Cybertruck drove 98% of the way without me having to touch the accelerator, brake or steering yoke.
Same here, the latest FSD is absolutely amazing.
Looking forward to checking out your notes.
Yes, exactly! We stopped half way in Redding, CA - and I hit the hotel gym after a 6 hour trip. In the past, without FSD, I was too exhausted to do anything.
Yes, our Cybertruck FSD on 12.5.5 is sometimes a bit slow - what I found is that if I press the accelerator to bring it to the speed I want, it then keeps it at that speed.
On our Model Y we have FSD 12.5.6.1 and the new "Hurry" speed profile works a lot better, I made a video about it here -
I have not experienced this - FSD has worked extremely well for us in California and Oregon, with no safety disengagements or interventions. I have over 30 videos now on https://www.youtube.com/@ehuna to prove it.
