No space for trailers at superchargers -

Perhaps the trip planner will prioritise drive-throughs. I expect all major highway charging locations to eventually have drive-throughs.

Heat pump, battery size, Class 2b division (light-duty pickup) classification confirmed in EPA Cybertruck documents

If they are sandbagging 20% I am going to have a baby. Then when the V3 4680 comes out with another 20%, I am having twins. :ROFLMAO:

Since it’s Steer By Wire it could Crab Walk — right?

Ha, the only bloody Cybertruck footage in the world that I haven't watched is Top Gear's

Compressed air attachment in the truck bed

I don't think it was promised. When asked, I think EM said 'good idea', or worth considering', or 'maybe', something along those lines. And it grew legs on here. I had only thought about airing up tires. I guess if I think about it, having air for a tradie will lead to maintenance and...

Since it’s Steer By Wire it could Crab Walk — right?

Good point, considering the Sunvisor, it might be ok. But the Jury still out.

Since it’s Steer By Wire it could Crab Walk — right?

Need to remove the 120v, /replace with 240. Move BAW to the other side, so the driver gets a full sweep.

Towing & Hauling / Dynamics menu content? And how good is the stereo?

No Mia culpa, bare bones as in it's not there, and surely something should be.

Towing & Hauling / Dynamics menu content? And how good is the stereo?

The UI for this release is software V0.1 lol. The off-road interface also looks bare bone.

Stainless steel thickness not 3mm but UP TO 1.8mm thick. Still stop bullets from .45-cal Tommy gun and Special Forces 9mm MP5 machine pistol

I cant repeat the jargon, but Sandy said (as we know) Tesla processed the SS to make it super hard. Perhaps since 2019 they made the SS even stronger and 1.8mm(if) was enough and perhaps not as compromised. ?

Cybertruck production rate reportedly 60 trucks an hour (as of 12/1/23)

1 minute would be the pooping rate from say 10 or more production lines, each with a line of trucks behind each other at various stages of build. Its not that they go from Start to Finish in a minute. The time a truck starts its build to the time it finishes could be hours.

Jason Camissa's Cybertruck Review Video & Podcast -- A MUST WATCH

Ditto, this guy was a really easy pleasure to watch, nice quips dispersed with titbits of information and balanced reporting. Some outstanding operators out there, but he is #1.

Look at all these Cybertrucks lined up at Giga Texas ahead of delivery event!! 🤩

And yet, still don't know the pack size, or if it swims. And off road UI ? I guess just need to wait for the 1 million videos about to come.

I figure the 2019 prices were good for 2021, and since delayed.. Factoring in inflation, I have taken the advertised cost from 2021 to today's value : Of course, it's not 500 miles, but it's not 300 miles either. I need 500 miles.. so i wait for 4680 improvement. For others, 350 miles is...

First owner's drive of Cybertruck #003 -- impressions, review, Q&A, video

I think he is smart enough to have explored the features before taking off on a 2 or 3 day drive. Jeez, we all would be like kids in a candy store. I think he is stalling as requested... Likely a full walkthrough in the next vid.

I would not buy it right now, the range is not acceptable for RV towing, the Range extender would likely cost about 25-30 grand in AU, and still not get me my 500 miles. However, a chance the CT might be available in AU in 26/27, and by then the standard range is increased... or 600+ with an...

Nobody noticed payload was reduced by 1000lb?

The lower specs are still well in my acceptable range. For my 7500lb RV, Tow ball weight, passenger weight, and range extender weight... still have plenty enough for general cargo (I hope)
