Cybertruck will be the last Tesla to use stainless steel exoskeleton

The Model Y is made in four factories, but the Cybertruck (CT) is only made in one, and it's not in full production yet, just available on one continent. If the Cybertruck were made in larger numbers and cheaper, I think they could sell more than 250,000 units worldwide each year.

Solar Panel Wrapped Cybertruck debuts at CES

It would have to be exceptional circumstances to warrant the pain-in-the-butt effort to drain the collected charge into the pack every night.

Considering TSLA is up 145% in the last 6 months... [WARNING: NO POLITICS, ONLY POLICY]

I purchased in 2018 @ $300. Back then $300 was just as $300 is today... it then dropped in 2019. Without splits, today's price would have been $6540. Amazing. What I am saying is no matter when we buy it's all relative to that moment in time, the chicken effect is always there. IF TSLA...

Considering TSLA is up 145% in the last 6 months... [WARNING: NO POLITICS, ONLY POLICY]

Congratulations. I have a similar story. I had avoided bankruptcy but had very little. In 2017 a heart attack/triple bypass followed. Not a good time. Then infection and Terrible vertigo and off work for a year. Internet was my friend. I realised a new Google was coming, and 'No', Tesla isn't...

Cybertruck spotted at BYD facility in China being examined by engineers

Yes, broadly speaking, they would need their version of SS, the 48-volt system, 220v Power supply, four-wheel steering, and castings—things that they won't have in the 'immediate' future. Essentially, they will strip down a racehorse, and build their donkey.

Which "Shocker" shock absorbing trailer hitch?

I had considered the Shocker Hitch, but now leaning towards this : https://www.ozglide.com.au/ It attaches to the RV, so no need to handle a heavy hitch, but it connects directly to the trailer .. no good if you need it for more than one trailer. I will use it on a 3 ton trailer, I think it...

$25K Model 2 and Robovan unveiling at Robotaxi event, predicts long time Tesla analyst

For many 'experts' who are not predicting a 'fast' ramp for the new models, I suggest they look at the current progress of Giga Texas. For the last few years, thousands have been working on construction/tweaking and fitout. Production is limited ...1500 CT and 1500 Model Y's per week ...

I'm back from 5 day camping trip towing 17' Casita Freedom Deluxe Travel Trailer (3200 lbs weight)

In Australia, Telsa charging stations are approx 150-200km apart... this gap seems to be the rollout gap across the national highway. I guess one day once the highways are connected they will infill to 100km gaps etc. Your range is great, but I could not hop across 2 charging stations without...

Tight Squeeze - Garage Parking & Clearance

I had never heard of the laser before, excellent. another option is to mark a spot on the side wall, in line with say the side mirror, if you have 5 or 6 inches to spare, you will get used to it, and it should work easily enough

Wrapping my Cybertruck - PPF or Vinyl?

It occurred to me the other day, is it easy for vandals to rip PPF or Vynyl off? Fortunately, I haven't read anything of the sort happening yet. Maybe it's not that easy.

500 Miles on my Cyber Truck. 400 of them towing a car. Do I need a weight distribution hitch?

If I was carting 3500 kg, on a long haul ahead I would use WDH and never exceed 60mph on a highway anyway. If I had small hops, say 50 miles, I wouldn't bother, but I would drive slower. It is a risk, but I wouldn't be bothered with the setup for 30- 60 minute drives. The Cybertruck is 3,130...

Chinese mother-in-law trying to go electric but is hesitant

In the area where I live in Australia, the Chinese love Tesla. Also, tell your mother-in-law that most new cars sold in China today are electric.
