Interesting Reactions in South Texas to my Cybertruck

Regarding CT production, I watch all the flyover vids, Joe and Brads fly overs are usually between 7 and 9am. Production seems to be increasing at a faster pace lately. Hard to know for sure, but today I got the vibe they could now be producing around 80 per day. CT's will outnumber the...

Interesting Reactions in South Texas to my Cybertruck

Good to hear, thanks. The CT may not be as energy efficient as ICE, but I've been waiting to hear from careful drivers. Specifically, looking forward to reports from careful drivers towing 7000lb, say driving 50mph. See if/how much we can improve the reported 100ish towing range.

First issue with the Cybertruck -- rattle from driver side door window

The app should acknowledge receipt, and provide an estimated time to get back to you. Leaving you hanging for 3 days is subpar. I guess, these little things are many that will surface over the coming months. Thank you for being an early adopter. ?

Air Compressor for airing up and down?

I think this Mean Mother is good, but I need to adapt to plug into a 240V. I don't know which specific plug and wire size is needed to replace the battery clips for this conversion. 2.5 mins to pump a tyre to 40psi...

First service appointment completed: tailgate lightbar cracked glass & stained running boards

I'd do the same. I am keen, but happy to wait out the teething period. But it's all academic... I'm Australian, it will hover by the time I get it.

Getting the run around from Tesla

The manufacturer was waiting for buttons, causing the original delay, and never got them on time. . Their admin incorrectly confirmed with my agent my order was complete and shipping. We misinformed our customers. Big fuckups are usually a result of a sequence of smaller fuckups. lol I got...

Getting the run around from Tesla

This first-time(and last) Chinese supplier of mine was already behind schedule. I was desperate for the dresses for a particular school, I finally received confirmation my order and especially the dresses were on the ship. I should have them in hand 1 week before school starts. Phew....!! On...

First service appointment completed: tailgate lightbar cracked glass & stained running boards

Not happy to see simple cosmetic faults get as far as the handover. The Model Y was initially plagued by build/panel gap issues, now the tables have turned. Once the CT production line settles and the outside is clean, these growing pains will/should disappear. Tesla is a tech company doing...

Judge Rules Against Elon's Pay Package [⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I was a shareholder in 18, it seemed a huge target. Even after suffering a share price drop, those shares are still worth tenfold. I don't feel ripped off if he gets his bonus.

2024 Cybertruck Production Rate predictions by Joe Tegtmeyer

Yes, all of that, then it gets worse if we add into the mix Elon's statement of possibly 125K? or so for 2024. or perhaps he meant we scale to that figure by the end of 24.

2024 Cybertruck Production Rate predictions by Joe Tegtmeyer

Cybertruck is anticipated to proceed at a slower pace than a typical ramp-up, which I believe will reach 5000 per week after the start of production. Joe has about half of that output after 12 months. Seems reasonably conservative. Half the output after twice the time. 80,000 orders is a...

Standard base aero wheels cover photos & video in motion (for Cybertrucks w/ Base Wheels)

I don't mind them It's funny, roles can easily be reversed. Had Tesla offered the tighter-fitted Aero cover, some vendor could have said it looks like a food platter. That same vendor would then hypothetically design and offer for sale the Tesla version as a more grunge look for the Cybertruck.
