Ford is not addressing it. They are asking owners to make the adjustments (and sacrifices).

And they should have issued an extended range qualifiers earlier: pre-condition battery, don't haul a non-bullet shaped trailer, park the truck inside your garage, remove ice accumulated on the hood, don't turn on the heater even on sub-zero weather, avoid roads with more than 3% grade climb or...
