  1. Help Me Decide-Service Center Work

Agree with others, take it to the SC to get the dented slats replaced. As for the panels, it's up to you but know that it could end up being fixed or worse. Regarding your frunk / passenger side quarter panel, it looks like it could the the frunk alignment and not the actual quarter panel? As...
  2. Help Me Decide-Service Center Work

Find the Cybertruck Service Manual online, then search for 'tonneau rework' (or something like that). It shows you the picture of it 'missing' the slat, and the steps with what the SC will do to add it.
  3. Cybertruck in Disney+ Ad

Cool....notice how the Cybertruck is hugging the double yellow lines?
  4. Surface rust on the lower part of my doors.

Hasn't happened to mine (and I live in the Boston area). That looks like surface iron deposits and not the actual stainless steel rusting. Like Crissa said, clean it with some Citrisurf77 and you should be all good.
  5. Charge limit 80, Wake Up to 78. Wtf?

I've seen this occur as well...but am 99% sure the reason is due to ambient temperature changes. Mine is garaged and over the past few days, I charged it to 80% (gotta love free energy via Charge on Solar!). Overnight, the temps dropped to the 60s (Boston area) and in the morning the truck was...
  6. PowerShare active (CT + Gateway + Universal Charger) - do I add solar only or solar plus powerwall?

Quick background: I have Tesla Solar, Powerwall 3, and Cybertruck. No Powershare as I’m waiting for the Powerwall software update to enable PowerShare (should be this quarter, Q3). I’m not an expert but here’s what I believe to be the answer to some of your questions: 1. Solar panels, only: if...
  7. Circular Windshield Cracks??

That’s crazy and I’d hope Tesla would replace it for you, no charge. Let us know how it goes!
  8. Stainless Steel rust

Like others have said, it’s iron deposits from brake dust, etc on the roads. These were on your previous cars but not really noticeable since it’s not stainless steel. 🙂
  9. Changing Hearts and Minds

I had a very similar experience when I let a friend drive mine. He didn’t like it, thought it was ugly, drove it…a week later he says to me that it’s a very cool vehicle. And I’m pretty sure the looks have grown on him. Was recently at a friend’s family event in NJ and several people asked...
  10. Newbie Range Question

Also, don’t forget if you’re on a road trip and want to arrive at your destination with a specific % state of charge, you can enter that in the “energy at arrival” (forget the exact wording) setting. This tells the navigation and time spent charging to adjust your supercharging stops...
  11. Powershare/Powerwall/PV Update?

Tasha energy has said Q3, 2025. So, sometime in the next 2 months (if it’s released on time).
  12. Newbie Range Question

Think of wh/mi the equivalent of mpg. I just did a 500 mile round trip drive from Boston to NJ earlier this week and I was surprised I was getting the stated range or 7-10% worse. I used FSD the entire drive and set it to 75mph on the highway (and this was during 95-100 degree hot and humid...
  13. Site Downtime: Our Apologies

That’s for fixing the alert notifications. They now work like they used to. 🙂
  14. Question about OEM tire

Agree about the shaking / balance. I'm betting a piece of foam dislodged from the tire. This happened to my wife's Model 3. Tesla glued the piece of foam back onto the tire.
  15. Tesla Changing the Cantrail Method AGAIN?

I'm the latter camp..."If the ventilated seats are this bad, putting a seat cover on it would effectively make it non-existent' lol. I'm also not the type to put seat covers on...
  16. Solar, Powerwall, Charger, CT.....now Powershare?

Another Tesla Solar and Powerwall 3 owner here...and waiting for the Powershare update. :)
  17. North Carolina Want to purchase Cybertent

I remember one forum member post pics that he uses an Ecoflow Wave 3 (portable AC) with his Cybertent. It fits under the tent, and he has the vent pump air into the tent.
  18. Tesla Changing the Cantrail Method AGAIN?

Yeah, the cooled / ventilated seats seems to be an inefficient design or part (?). The ventilated seats on my wife's 2024 Model 3 is 100x better. To the point where sometimes I have to turn off the ventilation bc it's cooling so well. Meanwhile, on the CT, at full 3 'cold bacons', 90% of the...
  19. Site Downtime: Our Apologies

Will you be able to fix the “mark read” behaviors so it does itch without me having to tap twice?
