Anyone else get this message?
I had this about few days/weeks ago( don't remember) but it went away quickly so I skipped my mind. Is this the Tesla server having issues?!
For the first trip to the SC the guy suggested maybe the smell was coming from outdoors other than the truck and I said Are you saying somebody sprinkled maple syrup on the highway? I think he realize that sounded stupid so we didn't answer but basically he said if it ain't something they did...
Hopefully this is covered and the last issue because I love the truck, whether it is driving itself or I am driving. Going up to the SC as soon as Roadkill is over. Best show on TV even in repeats
I appreciate the encouraging words but the smell is super strong. I will be going to the SC tomorrow to see what is going on but I'm not getting my hopes up.
My only how for a free fix is the computer they replace had a loose clamp or leaky hose. That should be covered.
Well, the sh*t keeps piling up. Driving around today and I start smelling maple syrup.i didn't have pancakes or French toast so I'm wondering...
I am thinking it is antifreeze so I look it up...
Google says, Yes, Tesla antifreeze (coolant) can smell like maple syrup or have a distinct sweet...
New charger on the way. Started a diagnostic check online and it did not have my symptoms in the drop down window. Turns out the button was showing repeated pressing, while not touching the handle.
So, now I get to wait 10 days for it to arrive from California instead of allowing me to pick up...
I found some air brush cleaning brushes at harbor freight and tried them, did not work. very bummed. going to try another hard wired charger at my nephews house. I will be stopping at the Tesla SC near my house first, see if they have a better idea.
