You can tell it's starting to rain, this is the second thread I've seen today about this.
We do have a solution coming, it's been well-tested on the 3 & Y's. None of the Rain-X type solutions work; I've tried them all, including the Glaco/Soft99 stuff - doesn't work.
I'll mention it here...
We have a solution coming for this, FSD is degraded when the rear camera is obscured...Tesla has done a lot of work to deal with occlusions, but there's only so much magic before the camera becomes useless. None of the other glass coatings work (lens isn't glass, for a start), tried them all.
You absolutely can @cali_doc , those areas are next on my list, as that plastic they used there is just weird. Not weak, but virtually impossible to keep looking good. Just finished the frunk lip, the truck bed is next, will post back here when it's done, might be a week or so since the sale is...
Here's all the prices. Just send a message to your SC for them to order-in, no reason at all to pay for labor, it's just 3 bolts and a wire connector, loads of videos out there show how to remove.
This is not always true (but it certainly can be). We get offered a lot of stuff, as I'm sure do a lot of the after-market companies. Some of it, maybe 25% is utter garbage. 50% is ok (but not for us), the remaining 25% is either evolved into a product that's exclusive to us, or passed-through...
Hi all
We've been working hard over the past couple of months to develop a range of trim protection using Xpel Armor PPF. Don't let the 'PPF' mislead you, this stuff is tough, and application is very, very easy. It transforms the somewhat vulnerable Cybertruck trim into a tough, beautiful and...
Please hit the Notify button on this page. We just tested 3 more versions (which were admittedly long-shots) but no joy. We have another version that's not a long-shot, but more difficult to develop, coming later this month, I'm much more hopeful for that one.
Can confirm the Tesla OEM projection lights do not work on the Cybertruck, because that would be too easy, right?! We do have another prototype in the works, but it's probably 2 weeks out from being able to test.
We did something similar (scuffed a garage opening). It'll never look the same, but if you can at least reshape it, you could always cover it with something like this. Yes, it's a plug, but it's what I did, and half the reason I took the time to develop the product in the first place :) I'm...
