  1. Be careful with v4 Superchargers ⚡

The V4 installs are in stages. The first is the installation of the new dispensers - which you used. These are often installed on existing cabinets - the charging rates are the same as before - just new fancy dispensers. The next stage is to upgrade the cabinets to support the higher charging...
  2. FSD V13 begins installing to Cybertrucks! -- V13.2.1

It hits a GPS location with a speed 8ndicator, usually that is where the sign is planted. You will see the exact location of changes occur before or after the sign. If Tesla is using Google Maps data, then you would do it in Google Maps. Tap and hold the location with the error. Select...
  3. FSD V13 begins installing to Cybertrucks! -- V13.2.1

FSD does not actually read the signs, it relies on the map data. So, if the speed is incorrect in FDS, it means the local municipality or county failed to update the central map data and so that fed up in to Google Maps database (which I believe Tesla uses - may be incorrect). You can use...
  4. No Christmas software update — Just got it- 12/22!!!!

No CT has the holiday update. There are a couple of threads regarding the latest firmware update that includes FSD 13. Several forum members just started receiving that in the last few days - but still no holiday update. Coulud be another week, may be longer (if we get it).
  5. Out of Spec: Rivian R1T vs. Cybertruck Highway Range Test! Don't Trust The EPA Rated Difference, Surprising Result

The other interesting element (did not watch the video, but recognize the truck), that is the Rivian R1T Gen 2 with the larger max pack battery. Kyle released a video a couple of days ago doing the 10% challenge and discussed the vehicle quite a bit (he likes his R1T Gen 1 much better).
  6. Frozen snow / ice blocked my headlights last night

Not well, or at all. LIDAR uses the measurement of reflected light to operate. It is hampered by snow and can be rendered useless in heavy snow or conditions that block the light's transmission or reception - such as being packed with snow or in heavy blowing snow.
  7. Chassis Rating for Cybertruck?

The issue is that the "Truck Chassis Category" does not indicate its cargo or towing capacity. The Truck Chassis Category is a traditional measure of the typical capabilities of the vehicle. This is where you find "light duty", "medium duty", and "Heavy duty" trucks. Unfortunately, this is...
  8. Flat tire on my Cybertruck... still waiting for a tow

I have experienced eight (8) flat tires on three different vehicles over the past 25 years. On two of those (Mini Cooper S and Ford Fusion Engeri PHEV), there was no room for a spare. The truck - yes, had one underneath the bed (as usual). Except for one blowout, they were all just punctures...
  9. Non-FS trucks being configured with "Base Autopilot"?

If you are driving and do not have a destination set, just activate FSD. It will engage autosteer for you - change lanes, pass slower traffic, etc. It is there - just not listed on its own. I have been making heavy use of it since the FSD install.
  10. Huge dilemma! When your favorite vehicle to drive now drives itself!

Great question! I am finding I love FSD - sometimes. When "I" want to drive, I just do it, or when FSD jusrlt is not driving they way I want.
  11. WTF Got 1st FSD STRIKE already .. just 3 days

On my first trip, it did ding and prompt me to move the steering wheel slightly. After the third time, I saw the message on the screen that the in-cabin camera was obstructed. It was my garage door openi g for the building. After I moved it, no more dings or prompts to toich the squircle.
  12. FSD general release rollout (outside Early Access) is happening! Install yours yet?

Received the download notification late last night, installed it this morning, and took it for three trips this afternoon. Overall, pretty impressive. - As others have said, left turns are a bit tight, almost hit the median on my forst FSD turn ever! - I saw a mention of school zones not yet...
  13. FSD videos from Cybertrucks driving on public roads! (by Early Access Owners)

He makes a comment early in the video that early release is just a few people. Overall, looked pretty good!
  14. Lessons from a couple thousand mile road trip

A couple of things here. First, route planning. I use A Better Route Planner (ABRP ) as you can tell it what type of trip you want to have (shorter charging times, more relaxes trip, etc.). You can also adjust the time or percentage of charge to depart or arrive at a charger or destination...
