I guess that explains why I like Lower/wider vehicles and shorter/thicker girls lol. But seriously, a lower Cybertruck looks better to me as long as it's able to be raised when/if needed. My '15 Ram had factory air and it was great. I can't remember the difference between lowest and highest, but...
I wonder if Tesla will start offering different wheel/tire options similar to what Rivian (and other companies) have on their configurators. Some folks will want on-road range. Others like AT/MT tires that eat mileage. In a car it's not really as relevant but a truck is different.
Based on this video I would imagine that the upper light bar is out. I hope I'm wrong, but if I'm shooting a slick video like this I'd have those fired up too.
Every new video I see of this looks better and better. I'm absolutely salivating for this. I'm in the minority I'm sure, but I prefer those wheels to the aero covers. Can't wait for my number to be called.
If Tesla comes within 4-6k Nikola is done. Cost is the other giant ???? . I believe they said the Nikola is $400k, which is hard for me to believe. So If Tesla can come in under that price tag with lower weight it's curtains for Nikola.
You're right about other companies, I tend to get caught...
Alternative fuel trucks get 2k lbs, I added that into my equation. I know they'll be lighter than Nikola but I have a hard time believing they'll be anywhere near a ICE truck. A heavy tandem axle truck is 18k and the tandems we run are around the 16k mark. I hope I'm wrong, but I think it's...
The true limiting factor is weight. I don't think there are enough people with experience in transportation engaged in the conversation. I had an opportunity to ride in a Nikola a few months back, and I'm heading to check out the electric Peterbilt at a dealer event tomorrow. When I ask the...
I just had a thought. Have you ever gotten out of the car in the rain at the exact moment the wiper blade is clearing rain towards you? Or rolled down the window at that moment? My Y hurls water at me, I can't imagine what BAW is going to do . . .
In the words of Cardi B "get a bucket and a mop...
Hopefully it's just a shadow, it doesn't really flow with the truck.
I kind of like the gloss wheels on there, was never a fan of the caps.
Still hoping for interior pic shots soon
Divorced dad with 2 kids in private school (budget is highly restricted) - I'll be trading in my Y. Best car I've ever had, just need something a little bigger and more rugged. I've even thought about selling the Y now to save $ in the meantime. The problem is my other car is a 69 Cadillac and...
From what I recall and found online "Under the Federal regulations in the United States, motor vehicles must be manufactured so that the third brake light (or "center highmounted stop lamp" as we call it) and all other stop lamps are steady-burning when they are in use."
With all of the work...
Not until they get the weight down. Many fleets are paid based on weight. We have been purchasing/leasing trucks as light as we can to maximize revenue and reduce the number of pieces of equipment, loads, and drivers. We got to test drive a Nikola a few months ago and while it's really...
I would take the three row SUV over the Cybertruck. I have a Model Y now and it's a bit small for my liking and the X, for my situation, isn't practical for the price. I'd like something a little more rugged, almost like an electric Defender. I love the idea of not having to worry about paint...
I was scheduled to have one installed, but have decided to leave my Y alone since I plan on selling it once the CT is available. Hopefully I won't be waiting long . . .
