So when I picked up my truck (Friday) the paperwork to sign was just in the truck they said hey sign that stuff bring it to us.
Did that and they said congratulations on your new truck so of course in the excitement I was like ya sweet can't wait.
They informed me if I had questions the thread...
Do you all think it would be wise to just have the powerback up installed if I have no wall charging unit or 240v outlet ready to go yet?
As I need to have at least the 240v or wall charger installed anyhow should I just go all the way?
Whoa easy with the really lol
In my paranoid state 5-10 minutes feels like an hour
So I'm sure it has only been 10 minutes at 60% and after I posted this I of course did a simple internet search and found this can be common (just like computers) and the last 40% will zoom.
1% install now is...
Is this normal for it to sit at 60% for a longer period of time?
Working in IT I do believe this can happen but being a first time EV person of course I'm concerned.
So I know I wasn't about to get 40m an hour but 2 an hour seems horrifying. I have it plugged into an extension cord into the wall him my garage. Outside of running a 220v into the garage anything else I can do until that can occur?
So I plan to have the home backup system installed, with that being said should I still be buying the Wall Connector for charging when I pickup the truck (today)? or should I wait until I get the backup system installed.
