Dont complicate by removing calipers ... just spray , dont brush it, it leave uneven finish, spray gives powder coat type even finish ... yes it does leave some surface inside unpainted which is 100% not visible unless you remove the wheels ... you main idea is to paint the visible surface ...

If my math is right ... you are technically lifting on 2jack stands ... trucks is ~6000 lbs .. so 2 Ton on each side shud be able to handle it ... 1 Ton = 2200 Lbs ... so 2 ton means 4400 lbs ... you are putting half truck weight...

I watched some TSportline videos ... Best informative is try on your own ... since all vinyl are different, like the videos I saw they pulled the whole backing sheet and were still able to move the vinyl on the surface very easily ... so it makes you feel very easy ... my vinyl is super tacky...
