I accidentally backed into the garage with my tailgate down. Knocked it out of alignment and it won't auto lower without some force applied.
I've put in a service request, but does anyone know if this is fixable without major part(s) replacement?
Seems like all they would have to do is remove...
You perhaps shouldn't have bought if you would potentially be upside down on it. I traded in my existing truck and paid down aggressively so far, so despite any possible depreciation, I have plenty of equity. And I doubt it's as bad as you think. These are solid vehicles.
Yes they did. It's the lower middle console section - where it meets the floor in the back, in the backseat area beneath the rear monitor. That section apparently was/is not being properly mounted during assembly, causing loosening and the noise. Don't ask me why it's a creak.
My tech...
Anyone ever had this? 5K miles, AWD Foundation.
When the alerts started coming on, the car felt like it was shaking and it seemed dangerous. Also, I lost the drive control of the accelerator pedal and the truck wouldn't slow down unless I used the left brake. It still drove, but felt like...
I installed mine today. Did not take two people - just me climbing on the roof. There seems to be ever so slight a bit of play in them and I can't tell if this is normal of they need to be secured better. But I resecured several times and they don't go on any more flush.
I remember seeing a different post about someone making a service appointment as a backdoor way of getting their wheel covers, and many denouncing such a wild idea.
Well, it just worked for me at the Alpharetta service center location, which is the metro Atlanta area. I made a service...
To me it wasn't as much the material, but the lack of proper installation instructions. It's decent material, but ANYTHING is going to rip on those corners. I thought there might be suggested/instructed orderly fashion in which to spread it out, but you're left to your imagination lol.
I'm...
Arrived today, see pics to see if it's something you think worth purchasing. To me, $300 was a bit steep for what I got.
It's great material, but as you can see, and as should be predictable with the CT jagged edges, it ripped as I was putting it on for the first time. Probably some user error...
I have almost 5K miles on my FS AWD. This creaking heard in the video just started a few days ago and it seems to track with turning the steering wheel.
Anyone have any insight as to what it could be? I have a confirmed service appointment for next week.
Sounds like something needs WD-40...
Now that the crossbars have dropped, does anyone have any insight or have you read about the best cargo carrier compatible with CT?
I mean it's only a matter of time before Tesla designs one, but in the meantime...
I will not be transporting bikes or gear, but rather a cargo carrier to...
I don't need them need them, but went ahead and snagged them, as there's no telling how limited the quantity is and how long it'll be until they're available again...
Yes and hopefully they will cover it if Tesla won't.
I get that it's advertised to be shatterproof in the event of a World Series game or alien attack, but it's still disappointing because I wouldn't expect this to happen.
Just sharing my tale of woe!
That is a distinction without a difference, so why point that out? lol. To prove it CAN withstand a Roger Clemens fastball if and when he shows up to my house?
The window nevertheless has to be replaced.
Survey says the advertised "strength" of the CT glass is false. My passenger side window spider shattered from a rock being shot at it by the landscaper's mower as he ran over it. I'm pretty disappointed, given the representations made about this glass. It's WTF-sticker worthy.
Also, Tesla is...
I got mine and I love it. Then my 11-year-old had an ingenious idea. She asked me what color I was going to wrap it. Has anyone bought some 3M film and tried to wrap the stainless steel Cybercooler?!
Seems like a cool idea!
UPDATE: I just spoke with service center and they were kind enough to troubleshoot over the phone. It's amazing what they can pull up - he went into my alerts via truck VIN and saw that my suspension was changing a LOT by geolocation in the town where I drive. He laughed and said, "it's like, a...
