Worse case scenario is at least you know there will be aftermarket steering wheels like weāve already seen for other Tesla models. So this really isnāt a big deal as far as Iām concerned.
I really like it and would have bought this years ago, but Iām keeping my Ridgeline until the Cybertruck is out. It seems this Maverick and the Honda Ridgeline would be perfect candidates for EVās since they are already unibodies.
Funny you say this because Iāve never seen anyone driving their Tesla with the windows down. I feel like Iāll be the first where I live once I get my Cybertruck And I believe it will be bring a different type of EV driver.
With Teslaās history of changing their minds about making the base models Iāve decided to just stick with the dual motor. But who knows anything can happen between now and the end of next year.
I wasnāt so sure about the new yoke, but I drove today only using the sides and bottom of the steering wheel and it wasnāt an issue. Now Iām down with this and hope it makes the CT. I really like the controls on the yoke as well replacing the stalk. Iām all in!
I thought when it rolled out it was a joke and the real one was coming out next. It took me about month of thinking about it to realize it was brilliant. Iām pretty sure Iām one of those that needed to rewire my brain on what a truck can be and not what it should look like. Very excited about Now!
