  1. Suspension dip after start

It does not get worse, just interesting. I will bring it up at the next SC appt and see what they can find out ??
  2. Suspension dip after start

My software is on version v12 ⁦(2024.14.7 e7565e5e7748)⁩ and it just happened this morning. Usually only once in the morning and it disappears. Maybe if more people have this issue, it can be better articulated to the SC.
  3. Suspension dip after start

After 90 days with the Cybertruck, it’s still as amazing as the first. Curious if anyone else has noticed, after about 5 minutes of driving, the suspension dips when stopped, usually at a red light. First time it felt like we were rear ended by a smart car. Minor but definitely noticeable. Not...
  4. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

It was a long debate and seeing the difference between clean HFS vs patina contaminated HFS, anything to keep that light shine became an option. Great news is, anything can in essence be buffed out of the HFS with minimal effort. ??
  5. So... About that winch....

You are correct, this is a crane drum winch….title shows 115V/230V max. Crazy amps though.
  6. So... About that winch....

This thread is blowing my mind, thank you all for the enlightening comments. I’ve always thought the higher the voltage (ie 48V), the lower the current required. In the end, power, which is voltage X current would be similar for 12V and 48V systems. But guess not. Perhaps thinking outside...
  7. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

It’s the exact same formula, updates have been different applicators as Everbrite experimented on consumers over the past 3 months. Yes, it does look a bit plastic
  8. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

It’s a polymer coating that hardens, if it wasn’t for the difficulty it n application and gaslighting by Everbright, the product does get rid of fingerprints completely. But there is a discoloration from original stainless to a yellowish tint. Not smooth anymore but more like a rubbery feel.
  9. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

Sorry to hear you had the same experience. I believe regardless of how the video between Colton and Jackie turns out in June, those who have actually tried the product would never recommend it to anyone we liked ? I’ve stripped one panel and you will need a solvent specific respirator and...
  10. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

According to Protecta Coat, I poured on the coating and smeared it around with a broom ? Actually about 1.5 coat, first messed up coat, another half coat to try and fix it. Failed ? What a mess.
  11. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

why would I spend another minute on this product? Please stop.
  12. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

I got a discount with free shipping from The Clean Garage and free shipping no tax for the DIY panel prep from Detailed Image. Applicator was $3.95, panel prep $19, two bottles of DIY ceramic coat $163. Barkeepers friend, the paste not spray was $5 and microfiber towels from Costco was like $15...
  13. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

Thank you for sharing Rick! So glad to hear others that did not have to go through the pain and anguish with this product. I had o planned on a single coat as I’m used to ceramic coatings. From the instruction which I followed religiously, rainbow’ing was a big no no. Trying to fix the thin...
  14. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

Timelapse would be so cool! When TSportsline advertises a DIY wrap kit, I guess they did not lie. The instructional videos and influencer experiences were consistent in describing the Cybertruck as one of the easiest vehicle to wrap. Looking forward to your video! ??
  15. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

Awesome! If you don’t mind posting the results and how you feel about each of the process, that would be helpful to many. I’ve ordered two bottles of the DIY ceramic coating along with all the appropriate prep sprays. Fingers crossed.
  16. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

With an engineering background and a high end custom home construction profession, I always blame myself for imperfections first before pointing the fingers at others. Following directions and utilizing the deductive thought process to problem solve has made me millions. What really got me was...
  17. ProtectaClear amateur application completed. Easy to do!

I’ve blocked out weekends to try and make it work. At this point, I’m just going the ceramic coat route. I’ll post some photos when I get the truck back from the shop. Thank you! ??
  18. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

I think that’s fantastic! With the time I spent on it, I could have had a factory wrap done. But I love the SS look as well. It was a failed experiment for me and I’m going to pay form DIY to ceramic coat it. Let everyone know if you experience dead bugs or bird dropping eating through the...
  19. ProtectaClear amateur application completed. Easy to do!

No worries, everyone had a different experience and mine was similar to Colton’s. I have no bias against Everbrite and am just a normal Joe. I prepped and applied following the Instructions provided exactly. With each coat, it was too thick in the beginning and too thin and rainbow’d at the...
  20. Everbrite ProtectaClear Fail

I wish I knew. I followed every single step precisely with the exact recommended products. What really got me was seeing them telling others it was their fault like they’ve told me for the past month. I’ll stick with ceramic coating from now on. So sad…
