I've used Sprayway to remove fingerprints the first day I go my truck and it seems to work well. I never used soap to wash any of my vehicles except for the tires. I just water down the vehicle and use a sponge to clean the vehicle if the water doesn't remove the dirt or grime. I found that...
Has anyone had this alert show up? It sure changes the way you drive the pickup. I have a service request to get it addressed but was wondering if any one knew what causes the issue.
FYI, I made a service appointment and they replaced it. Service was quick and painless. Knock on wood, service and delivery has been good in Tucson, AZ.
I don't believe my truck sounds the same. My truck seems to be much quieter but comparing would be difficult without a sound meter. BTW, I have a Cyberbeast.
I had some scrap 1/8"x6" plate and fabricated a couple of pieces for my chargers. I think they look OK but it would have been a little nicer if the charger had more of a full saddle instead of a 1/2 of a saddle for the cord. Either that or a plastic backer plate would have been sufficient as...
I'm looking for different wheels and tires for street use. I don't need the aggressive tread pattern and the noise associated with them. I would prefer 22-24" wheels with a smooth sidewall on the tires. I haven't seen anything like that so far.
Energy usage increases as velocity squared. So aerodynamic drag increases by 2x increasing speed from 50 to 70 mph. The energy usage isn't all aerodynamic drag but it's a major factor.
Does anyone know if there is a do-dad that attaches to the charging station that will keep the charging cable from rubbing against the wall? It seems like they could have cupped the station a litte differently so that this would not happen. I know it's a little OCD, but I don't want to...
If that hitch attachment point can handle 1100 lbs, the 160 lbs value is not the maximum. Granted it may be what they tested but not what it can safely handle.
It states the tongue weight in this section which makes perfect sense. A lot of vehicle specs have around 10% for tongue weight of their towing compacity.
Explain how 1100 lbs maximum tongue weight equates to 160 lbs vertical load limit. That doesn't even make any sense. I guess someone needs to point out the document error to Tesla.
I quoted straight out of the online cybertruck manual. Nice thing about having online documents is they can correct any mistakes.
