This response made me laugh! Same thing happened to me. You tell them to flip one side, and they flip both sides, so the problem keeps moving around. I’m glad it’s a reality easy fix.
The rubber feet are a two part rubber stack for height adjustment. Take one layer off both feet when using with a bed liner mat. The latch in this video was damaged when you applied too much force. This caused one of the metal teeth to break or bend on the internal gear wheel. This cannot be...
I wouldn’t worry too much. A far as weather is concerned, this is the only vehicle I would even consider staying in if I had too during a small tornado for safety. Bulletproof, Heavy and built like a tank.
Agreed! All in all, the damage was barely noticeable. Only a few small golfball sized dents. Keep in mind, you can also just replace damaged slats individually. Amazing engineering.
Great question. When I picked up our Beast over a year ago on delivery day I noticed what looked like few small dents in the vault cover. This was due to hail damage at the factory lot or during transport. The vault I think is made from aluminum. Tesla replaced the whole vault free of charge...
Honest question for anyone who is having issues with the light bar detaching. Has anyone treated their windshield with any products at all like Rain-X or any type of ceramic coatings before having the light bar installed? I’m wondering if window treatments can affect the bonding of the adhesive...
With the YouTube video fix, you can remove the top aero shield anytime you want without disturbing the new rubber seal. Just like you would with the original foam. I haven’t tested it, but it should still work with the Cybertent.
I posted this video on a YouTube channel dedicated mainly to my wife’s cats. Some people now refer to this DIY vault leak fix video as “the cat guys video”. I’ll roll with that….as long at never leaves this chat.

Cat guy sounds funny! My wife is definitely the cat lady. I made this video about a year ago on her YouTube channel because she really didn’t like the water in the bed of her truck and also to help the Cybertruck communiy. Just understand that this is DIY only and in no way will change the...

I just received this message today on my Tesla app about them waiting on the correct glue to arrive. I didn’t even request to have my lightbar installed yet. I’m waiting a bit longer until they iron out all the details. The process needs a bit more tuning in my opinion.
Hey everyone, OP here of the Tesla Cybertruck tonneau cover waterproof seal upgrade video.
Wanted to give everyone a quick update after making this video about 10 months ago. The seal is holding up amazing! Still no leaks or water of any kind in the bed of our truck after 10 months sweltering...
I’ve had a similar issue as you. I would hear a compressor vibration noise for the first 5-10 minutes of driving each day. My thoughts are, Compressors are naturally noisy, but it is important to it from vibrating against other hard surfaces. The first few minutes of driving, the compressor...
I’ve noticed the exact same noises when adjusting my front A/C vents. My CB is about 7 months old. I had the SC replace both front A/C motors last week and the noise is still there. I even compared the noise to another customers Cybertruck on the lot and it’s the same, grinding like sound when...
Same here as well, my rear driver side seatbelt is mounted backward. Odd, has anyone has SC fix this? I’d rather fix it myself if possible. Any knowledge out there someone can share.
