I'd put the value of FSD at the same value Tesla places on it at trade in. $3,900*. There isn't any depreciation of constantly updated software (it doesn't wear down or get old) so Tesla should add it's full value to cars with it vs. cars without, but they don't.
I've had FSD beta for years...
Gasoline has 33,700 Wh of thermal energy per gallon, but only 12-30% of that is available as motive energy. So trucks and SUVs only reap ~ 4 kWh/gallon and highly efficient small hybrids manage 10 kWh/gallon. The rest is wasted as heat and pollution.
I got my Foundation Series invite on Dec. 19th and the configurator is still active for me.
I'm not pulling the trigger until the tax credit is available.
I'm turning the tables on Tesla by stringing them along for a while. I open the configurator, change an option or two, click the "Continue to Payment" button, then ghost them. ?
That page sits open in a tab for a few days until I close it out, then reconfigure again... ad infinitum*
*until it...
Police officers write their reports defensively. Whenever they imagine a question that they may be asked on the witness stand, they document that point in their written report. Attorneys are notorious for taking anything you remember but didn't write down as unreliable, at best, a malicious lie...
And uses ~2000 Wh/mile @ 85mph. ?
Unless the "pulls into nearly every station easily" you're referencing the problem of SuperCharging while towing a trailer, a F-150 would be using upwards of 3500 Wh/mile.
Well, you did say:
... without any qualifiers. ??
But you're right that the most powerful Tesla Wall Connector available from the Tesla store today tops out at 48A.
Mine's a Gen 1 connector. It has dip switches that allow it to deliver 80A from a 100A breaker. It's from the days of the early Model S that had the option for dual on-baord chargers. They would take 80A. I suppose Tesla learned an expensive lesson about that, because they scrapped that charging...
$TSLA stock is reacting poorly to the news that people can crash into a CyberTruck without being killed. Elon told us that the CyberTruck would WIN in any collision. How can you consider it a win if your opponent survived?!? ?

*that's not an em dash
?
If it was a lemon you'd try to sell it to somebody else?!?
If it IS a lemon, lemon laws will apply and Tesla will HAVE to buy it back from you.*
*I'm trying to eliminate the CONS for you.
I would think that Tesla has prewired this tap for some specific accessory they have in the works. Let's all just speculate what that will be. My guess... ?
When I first got my Model 3 my "efficiency" was about 800 Wh/mile too. it took several weeks of driving before I could resist "full send" acceleration at every traffic light and highway on-ramp. Their right foot will settle down eventually*
*for most, but not all owners ?
When I get my CyberTruck I'm gonna pop a huge bowl of popcorn and spend the next hour eating popcorn and touching every square inch of my new truck. I think with a uniform coating of fingerprints they will all disappear from view.
